Owner description: The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Foundation, in Jerez de la Frontera, is famous all over the world for its show called "How the Andalusian Horses Dance", a unique exhibition of horsemanship which both exhibits and summarises the work which the institution has carried out since its establishment. Although the show "How the Andalusian Horses Dance" may be considered the highest attainment of the School's work, there are other aspects which are regarded as equally, or even more important, for the Institution. Among these, we would like to highlight its role as a social and cultural vehicle for our equestrian heritage, the selection and promotion of horses, the training of Haute Ecole riders, the preservation and promotion of Classical and Country Dressage (Doma Vaquera), maintaining the prestige of our horsemanship, the breed of our Spanish horses, our traditions and culture. Furthermore, the show enables the Royal School to play host for the Province of Cadiz and to act as ambassadors abroad on annual tours to various foreign countries. In addition to the show, you might enjoy a visit to our training facilities as well as the Museum of Equestrian Art and the Carriage Museum.

“nay-ver seen anything like it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2014

What a fantastic experience! Nothing but praise for both the horses and the riders. The timing between the two were so in sync and not a single noticeable flaw. I was absolutely blown away and couldn't keep my eyes off the equestrian performance. I would definitely go and see it again! A MUST go see for all ages.

“An absolute must see in Jerez”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2014

Rider and horse in perfect harmony. The beautiful gardens on the walk to the indoor arena set the scene for a performance of pure equestrian grace. A must see on any trip to Jerez and one that will be remembered a lot longer than the sherry bodegas tour.

“It's about the horses”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

This show is about showing what horses can do. Of course it all depends on skilled riders, but their goal is to show off the animals, which they do in many different ways. The closing number, an exercise in synchronized riding, is amazing.

“Good Show”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2014

It is an enjoyable show on the whole but at times it becomes repetitive or lets say over extended. It is impossible not to admire the horses, riders and the effort put into it. Everything very well organized in a nice setting. Go a bit early to look around.

“Fantastic horses and great show”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

It is great show which I highly recommend. I am a horse rider and horse lover. These riders are top level. The horses are incredible. They know they are performing in front of a crowd and they love it. The show is brilliant. My wife is not a big horse fan and she loved it. There were so many families with kids and the atmosphere in the indoor arena was fantastic. Everybody seemed to enjoy the show.
Highly recommend it.
The only regret I have is that I couldn't get close to the stables and the horses but I understand that this could be dangerous with so many people around.
