We arrived in Jerez without a hotel booked and after trundling round the town in the 37C heat made the unfortunate decision to stay at the Hotel Joma (50 euros/night in august n.b. it is 150euros/night at easter!). As noted by other reviewers it is not anywhere close to 3 star standard, and looked more like a 1970s 1 star! A small room with big damp patches, a tiny TV, scalding temperature changes in the shower, broken tiles in the bathroom and a frankly derisory breakfast all contributed to the sense of dissatisfaction. There is parking for 9euros/night but this is not on site and is the wrong way up the one way street which the hotel is on. This means we had to take a 10 minute drive around jerez to reach it. At which point we found that we couldn't open the door. Apparently, the unhelpful owner hadn't given us the keyfob for the garage door so if you find yourself in this hotel by mistake remember to ask for it. Do yourself a favour and pay out the extra 20euros to stay somewhere decent!

I stayed in Hotel Joma just for a night and that was enough. I paied € 50 for the smallest single room I have ever slept in: dirty, noisy and stinky. The position is very good as it is located in the city centre but the hotel is not worth a visit.

We booked a room for 2 nights at this hotel based on its website [--]. Boy were we in for a surprise when we got up to the room. It was run down and very old and the bathroom sink and counter were dirty (there was still hair on it from the previous guest!) We had a room facing the street, and the patio doors couldn't even be shut completely, so we heard all the noise from the street below. We had to ask the deskman 3 times to clean the bathroom sink and counter, and he finally sent someone up to do it. This hotel misrepresents itself greatly on its website. Had we known, we would never have stayed there.
