“Delicious food and a good place for kids”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

You have variety of mediterranean food to choose... The ingredients quality is very good, and you can feel that the dishes are cooked calmly but they arrive fast at the table. When the kids finish their meal, they can enjoy in a special room with some toys and you can enjoy a delicios coffee or te peacefully :)
For us is a good place to visit frequently!

“Excellent value for money”
Reviewed 8 January 2014

It has a wide range of tapas, all of them very tasty, with a really adjusted price.

Try the bikini picuteig if you are into truffle!

“Great tapas, lovely place to eat”
Reviewed 1 April 2013

I've been here a few times in previous years and went on my own tonight. The new menu still has the old favourites ("croquetes amb boletes" with [real!] porcini mushrooms inside, octopus "pop a la gallega") and I first tried the "montadito amb foie a la plancha" -- a piece of toasted bread, some apple compote, a very nice slice of freshly grilled foie gras and the secret sauce... Great with a bottle of one of the nice Catalan wines they offer.
When it's warm enough, the tables outdoors are great because you can have a smoke between dishes....
I will definitely be back!

“Second time, same excellent impression”
Reviewed 11 February 2013

They not only keep the same quality standard, but improve more and more. We ordered a wide range of tapas: cheese table, jamón ibérico, salmon with truffle, anxovies from el cantábrico, sorted table of fresh bread, amazing mini-burgers and mini-steak (Basque beef "chuletón"), and so on and so forth. Upmarket quality at an affordable price. Excellent service. Imaginative cooking and delicious taste. Highly recommendable.

“A Catalan Feast”
Reviewed 16 October 2012

If you fancy a trip out from the hustle-bustle of Barcelona, make the easy train trip to Sabadell to the north. A pretty little town, well worth exploring, and eat at the Picuteig. A bright welcoming restautant with a wonderful menu, my first foray into real Catalan tapas. The restaurant itself was classy and comfortable, the staff so helpful and the food, well the tapas was great and different.....the aubergines in some sort of magic sauce were to die for. The range of tastes were amazing, pork, chicken, fish, seafood, veggies, all cooked to perfection. And all washed down with delicious local wine. Go and seek the Picuteig out, you won't be disappointed.
