Good Points

1. Not in centre of town but in a seperate shopping development opposite a park which if you like you can run around
2. Lots of mid level shops and bars around
3.Service good
4. Breakfast pretty good
5. Price ok if you negotiate
Bad things.

1. The WORLDS MOST DEPRESSING BROWN ROOMS.
2. IF THIS HOTEL WAS EVER RENOVATED IT WAS DONE BY A SERIAL KILLER
3. Beds not that comfortable , very hard

Conclusion

One night is fine, two you are risking it , three nights you will slash your wrists

We are a group of 21 young people coming back from the WYD in Madrid. We had to make a stop in the Barcelona zone to rest a bit before driving again to Italy.
Even if the we had well booked via internet 2 days before, arriving at the hotel in the late evening we found our rooms had been re-assigned. We had to wait more that an hour in the hall waiting them distributing the keys at another group of more than 80 persons arrived just some minutes after us. According with our reservation we asked for some double and some triple rooms. The answer was that it was too late to have triple or 4-beds rooms because the maid service was not available at those late hours.
Finally we ad the rooms at 2.30 of the night. Most of them was 4-beds rooms, one even with 5 beds!
Moreover the rooms was with quite old and stained furnitures. In some zones of the floor there was many ants.
The mattress quite old, the pillow too shallow.
We was simply too tired to protest: finally we had to stay only one night and it was certainly better than the grass in cuatro vientos the night before.

The hotel was good and clean, the rooms were small though. The service was excellent, the staff were very courteous and the food in the restaruant was fabulous. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the train station and it takes about 35 minutes to get into Barcelona. We were very happy that we chose this hotel - our stay was very comfortable and uneventful.

For the same price you can stay at average 3* hotel in the center of Barselona. Totally overpriced.

Thanks to a technical problem with the plane due to fly us back from Barcelona, our airline brought us here for a night with a large group of fellow passengers. Check in was slow as 2 bus loads arrived at once but the staff were pleasant. The rooms are a reasonable size and have wooden floors, lending a clean, modern feel. Bathrooms are well equipped with a proper bath tub and bidet. The breakfast was good with a large selection. WiFi access was free and fast.

There is an ice cream cafe and bar next door with outdoor seating, which seem quite lively, though not loud enough to create problems with sleeping.

The hotel is located in a big street in north of Sabadell near the big shopping center "el corte ingles", 15 minutes walks from the center of the city.
The room was clean and not so small, with a big window in the main street. Good also the bathroom.
The breakfast was with international cuisine, many things to eat.
The staff of the hotel were very polite.
I recommend it for a business travel.

positive experiences:
none above the expected as this hotel is "nominally" a 4 star one. The air conditioning worked, the restaurant was open, some of the staff was polite, the bed was ok, and one in four meals was as expected.

negative experiences:
Room: see photos, in average condition, but this is not expected from a 4-star hotel, in my opinion. Paint peeling, floor tiles has gaps, some little details that matter a bit. Our room was overlooking a very noisy street. Power plugs were not working everywhere.

Restaurant (only 4 meals!):
1. dinner: we were told to choose from a menu, we had to have the assistance of the receptionist, because not a waiter spoke English at all(!) and after that we had to cancel our orders, because we were with a group (but we asked for that first and were told to choose!) and go to another room, that was some 2nd class compared to the restaurant itself (and of course you couldn't choose, and got some pasta and french fries)
1. breakfast: ok but only as expected
2. dinner:
inedible food that was served in more than one hour (unbaked bread, differently prepared meat for a company of about 12 on a scale from uncuttable to well-done), and always yoghurt as a dessert in different flavours without being able to choose (this seems a small and funny detail, but let's compare it to the other hotel we stayed after that: there we had also yoghurt as a dessert, but also 10-15 different kinds of other desserts, too!)
2. breakfast:
when we arrived to the restaurant, we were told, I suppose, in Spanish, to go somewhere on the 1st or -1st level (to another room), but no one seemed to guide us to there. We made a tour but couldn't find this room so we returned and were eating there.

Staff:
There was some polite people, but mostly indifferent, I can't forget that one of the members of our group had a bag stolen with money and passport in the lobby. I wouldn't comment this, because I don't know all the details, but all the reception staff first checked out the remaining guests (?because they couldn't believe that this had happened?) and only after 45 mins called the police. And they didn't offer to help with their recordings of the security cameras, not even to the police.

My only explanation is that there was some payment problem between the hotel and our travel agency, but the hotel never communicated the fact to us they were simply unhospitable and unfriendly.

Conclusion: I really don't recommend the place, the atmosphere of the place is unfriendly, indifferent at most, meals are a forgettable experience, all in all the level of service is approximately of a 2-star hotel.
