We decided to stop hère based on Tripadvisor ratings and so glad we did. Josse gréeted us after driving from Valladiolid where we had spent 4 nights in thé only supposéd 5* hôtel. It didnt come close to thé warm welcome we were given, nor thé fantastic room 'Emrita'. Not only that but many things were complimentary. Best part was thé amazing meal that was prepared for us, with thé tomato dish being thé highlight..... one of thé best dishes we hâve éver tasted. 17.07.14 Mark & Ali

What a place! Friendly people, clean and big rooms and not to forget the fantastic breakfast. A pity we could not stay longer! But we will be back asap to experience Barosse's unike athmosphare.
Jaca with it's tapas bars is situated down in the valley and. is a 'once in a lifetime' experience:-)

Stayed here one night in June 2014. IMO, this is quite a "non-traditional" hotel. Jaca is off the beaten path, and this hotel is a couple of miles outside of town, in a recently-developed residential subdivision.

The house itself is gorgeous - all stone and very well appointed. Bed excellent, zero noise from outside, considerable room-to-room noise, adequate space to unpack. No a/c, but SCREENS ON THE WINDOWS! (hallelujah). The heavy stone construction of the house keeps it reasonably cool, and then you can open the windows at night for cool fresh air. What a concept.

The owner is unbelievably attentive, and provides an excellent breakfast in the beautiful dining room.

I liked the place immensely. For me, as a light sleeper, the only drawback is that if your neighbor showers in the morning, it *will* wake you.

We booked this B&B based on the excellent reviews. They were not exaggerating. This beautiful designer all-stone B&B is simply wonderful. Jóse (we did not meet Gustav) creates a very warm, romantic, elegant environment from the moment you enter the house to the smallest detail.
He walked us through, booked us exclusive time in the sauna/jacuzzi room, offered great hiking and travel excursion ideas, and was available 24/7.
When I booked I mentioned I was vegan but did not expect any special treatment. We arrived at breakfast the next morning to a beautiful buffet which included 2 types of alternative milk (soy, almond), soy yogurts, homemade cakes, treats and breads without dairy or eggs, humous, etc. I was shocked!! He made eggs for my husband. Gazpacho with tomato sorbet - amazing. I'm waiting for the recipe.
We both highly recommend this beautiful, out of the city, boutique B&B and hope well have the opportunity to return one day.

We spent one night at Barosse and it was a delight. Barosse is a suburb of Jaca, so the location is quiet but not far from Jaca, if you want to go to town. Jose is the consummate host. He greeted us upon our arrival gave us a tour of the facilities and settled us in a new room, la fuente. We sat in the back garden to enjoy the sun for a while. We were made to feel quite at home.

We asked if they could provide us with dinner and we feasted on wonderful fish and pork and salads. The first dish however was home made hummus. It was so good that I wanted to kidnap Jose and take him home with us. We finished with a cheese plate and chocolate truffles and could not have been happier. We slept quite happily and were sad to leave in the morning, but Jose, provided us with hummus again for breakfast because he knew how impressed we had been.

Room Tip: Don't know much about the rest of the rooms but the Fuente room was large and comfortable with a jacuzzi tub and shower. It had a loft but it had a very low ceiling so we did not even go up. We did not need to as we pretty much had everything downstairs.
