What is there to say - all the rpevious write ups are spot on. Excellent hotel, well equippped modern and sytlish rooms, food superb. Staff the most attentive and focussed we have experienced in many years and in many high standard hotels. need to be fit to get down to (and back from) the beach but well worth the effort. Lindos is fine for going out with one or two decent restaurants and worth the 14 euro return cab - wouldn't even consider the walk. We loved it and will definitely come back.

What a fantastic hotel! Although it doesn't look too spectacular from the front, inside it is fab. Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary whilst there, had an anniversary cake and red rose delivered to our room, champagne on arrival and fruit. Every day the maids arranged the room and delivered 2 chocolates and sometimes other treats. Very attentive, pleasant staff each morning at breakfast, amazing view from the restaurants and rooms. The hotel is arranged over a series of floors built into the mountain. All the public areas are amazing, very chic and minimalistic, chrome, water, white, stone. Pools are fab too, choose from 3. Gym quite well equipt, fantastic views whilst you work out. Don't bother with the private pools, they aren't very private and are shared with the room next door, most rooms don't get sun all day either. Bar staff in hotel really lovely. In all a fabulous stay, very relaxing, breakfasts are amazing, nothing else you could wish for - breads, cheeses, hams olives, hot food, jams, fruit, cereals, canapes, champagne, water, juices, nuts, etc, etc.

Beach is lovely and sunloungers very comfortable, beach towels available in your room each day, waiter service is available if you want to pay a bit more, call at the supermarket for supplies if you choose. Check out the local bars, Azzurro is a lovely trendy bar/restaurant which hosts quite a few weddings but still cater for you if you require feeding! Food is great. All staff there are very helpful and pleasant (think it may have changed it's name as we left but it's the 1st one you come to as you walk left along the beach road). The next bar along is also fine, the food is good, they also have a supermarket which has everything you might need. Buses to Lindos are cheap, if you wait in the bus stop, taxis stop and you can negotiate with them if you don't want to wait for the bus, normally about 5 euros. Taxis tend to be more expensive on the way back, some tried up to 8 euros, might be something to do with the hotel you are staying at, ask the price 1st. Lindos is lovely, try Hermes restaurant, very reasonable and food stayed hot til the end of the meal, Caesars, Kalypso too. Try Georgios bar also, very relaxed atmosphere, great chap Sam who runs it. Take a trip into Rhodes Town, well worth a visit, we hired a car, took about 45 minutes. Be aware if you want to keep your room on departure day, they can be free until a certain time but then costs can range from 50 - 120 euros, check this out with reception, there is also a courtesy room.

We just got back from a weeks stay at this hotel which is part of the "Small Luxury Hotels Of The World" group. The pictures and description from the Travel Agent (Apollo) didn't do it justice.

This is a minimalistic hotel regarding interior decoration, but absolutely not regarding level of service. We have never experienced anything like it. All of the staff, from the cleaning-ladies to the Managers, displayed a wonderfully quiet service. No hustle, no feeling of urgency, no feeling of having to tip. They were everywhere, but as mentioned quietly, ready to serve us hand and foot, and sometimes anticipating our needs before we expressed them. Always, always with a warm smile.
The Greeks are , truly, a wonderful people. Kind, giving and respectful.

We celebrated birthday while we were there, and they brought cake and Sparkling to our room, singing happy birthday. Twice a day, the smiling ladies who cleaned our room, made sure we had fresh towels and a room that sparkled.

The food was excellent! Plentiful buffès and fresh food. Absolutely wonderful.

The beach lies right below Lindos Blu, but you have to walk through Lindos Mare, which is the "sister hotel", a 4* hotel.
Lindos Blu is built in steps, down the hill. There are elevators going between the buildings/floors.
The hotel is built in beautiful beige stone and the colors are white, beige, green, turquise and steel. This all gives the place an airy feel, which is wonderful on an Island which can be very warm. The sea beneath the hotel is crystal clear, and the seatemp. was aprox. 23 Celcius in the beginning of June.

In some of the rooms there are private or semi-private infinity- pools. We highly recommend you get one of these, as you will then get a large terrace with sunbeds, your own pool (or shared with the adjacent room) and the most private feeling anyone can hope to get on a vacation like this. The rooms without pool have small balconies, with glass fences. This means anyone can look at you if you sit there to enjoy a drink, look at the gorgeous view or whatever you feel like doing.
No matter what room you choose, cozy bathrobes await you, and the rooms are spacious. The beds are first class. There is a large window between the bathroom and the bedroom, so you can watch the sky from there.

The hotel lies aprox. 2 km from Lindos town, and there is a local bus parting outside the hotel every hour that will take you there (1-2 Euro), or if you like to (-wards) Rhodes Town, in the opposite direction (5 Euro).

The reception calls you a cab if you want to, which will be there two minutes later. 8 Euro to go to Lindos, 6 Euro to return. Why the price-difference, I don't know.

To top it all, it is truly a peaceful spot. This is a place f or grown-ups, and will suit you fine if you want to spend time alone with that special someone. The guests were discrete and respectful towards each other, obviously there to be two-some. There was some quiet and nice entertainment in terms of music three-four nights, around dinner was served, but more as a background to dinner or drinks. We were one out of two scandinavian couples, as far as we know. Mostly there were germans, french, brittish and italians. But, as mentioned, they were all living the peaceful, quiet and romantic life, so it didn't really matter what nationalities there were.

We will surely return.
If you can afford it, and want honeymoon-style peace, go for the Lindos Blu.

Enjoy!

Room Tip: Get a room with private/semi-private pool!

This hotel was just excellent. We were on honeymoon so spent more then normal on this type of holiday (a week in the sun), but it was worth every penny, The staff are fabulous, friendly and their levels of service are second to none, we never wanted for anything for the entire time we were there. We will be going back.
We chose to just take bed and breakfast which then gave us the flexibility to eat in Lindos itself in the evening or stay at the hotel - which we did one evening at 35 euros per head, buffet starters and desserts, main course ordered from menu - very good quality. Although Lindos is approx 5 mins away in a taxi (along a busy road, not the best for walking along!) it was 8 euros there and 6 euros back which seemed expensive for the distance of the journey, but it never changed so is the standard fare, so factor that into your budget, but it's worth it for the choice of restaurants and atmosphere in Lindos.
The rooms are lovely with everything you need, and the view of the bay from every room is just amazing, we never got tired of looking at it!!
The only thing to be aware of (and we wish that Thomson who we booked with had made us aware of this) is that late check outs are very hard to come by, and with the majority of flights back to the UK late at night the chances are that you will not be picked up from the hotel until well into the evening, and without a room from 12 noon! The hotel policy is 51 euros for a standard double (more for suites etc) to extend check out until 5pm. However, they do offer a courtesy room service where you can access a room for half an hour for a shower etc (and it was nicer than our own room!!!).

Room Tip: Upgrades don't seem to come easily here!!

Our second trip to this wonderful, boutique hotel which lived up to it's promise - again!
The location, quality of rooms + food helps but the key ingredient is the fantastic attentive staff who repeatedly go out of their way to make your precious break so relaxing & stress free.

After long search (thanks also to feedback on TripAd.) we chose this WONDERFUL HOTEL! All was absolutely fine. Mostly of the time BETTER than expectations! People are delivering such a good service that (only in the beginning) looks even TOO MUCH! But once you've grown accostumed to it , it will be hard to come back to REAL LIFE! We choose half board & kitchen is of very high level but if one prefer to have more freedom (& more choices) I would suggest to book only B&B! Breakfast is anyway for quality & variety a MAIN MEAL itself! In the evening one can choose to go to Lindos to taste traditional greek kitchen or to eat in one of the two refined restaurants in the hotel: 3 to 4 stars quality anyway! We can hardly wait next year to go back!

Room Tip: You may ask a room away from the AC system!
