“Perfection!”
Reviewed 22 July 2013

My husband and I visited this hotel in July 2013. We arrived very late (11.00pm) and the hotel was impressive on arrival, we were greeted by the reception, taken to our room and given a tour on the way. The room was explained to us, which was informative. We were offered a greeting drink (of our choice) I had sparkling wine, very nice and my husband had Ouzo which was recommended by the the barman. We could of done with a light snack as we hadn't eaten since lunch time but only room service was available so we left it till the morning and breakfast served us well. The choice and service from the waiting staff was perfect, something for everyone, my husband even started having sparkling wine as this was an option too. We had more than enough to fill us till the evening meal, which was delicious. Four courses, soup, then buffet which had so much choice you didn't really need a main course, but it had to be done, then main course, followed by pudding, which was extremely good, many choices different every night, and most people had at least 3 to 4 a night. The staff were un-faultable, in every way, they were fine tuned and happy, happy, offering great service at every meal. I recommend that you try this as we found the food in the hotel the best we had in our 10-day stay in Lindos. We were half board but we could change our evening meal till the lunch time, so we could go out exploring at night if we wished. Lindos was a nice place to visit but after a couple of visits it got samey and we opted to stay at the hotel. The hotel was very quiet, which was what we wanted, but if you want a hotel with action this is not the place for you. There is hardly any entertainment but Lindos is a stone throw away if this is your thing.

In summary, a fab hotel, stunning views from every angle, food wonderful, clean and relaxing, but the staff is this hotels greatest asset, I would definately return at some time, although there is a big world out there. Go!

Room Tip: All room are good, we had an ordinary double, can't see you need anything better than this, spac...

After reading all the wonderful reviews we were determined to find something wrong with the hotel.
We couldn't! From the moment we entered the reception, the staff were brilliant. Just the right amount of attention - not over the top or patronising but genuinely keen to help you and give you the best experience. Special mention must go to Katarina who was just simply wonderful!!! The hotel is just as it says in the pictures - no surprises -even better in real life. Breakfasts are something else. They have everything that you could probably wish for including champagne and caviar. The beach is lovely as well. There is not much to do outside the hotel unless you take a taxi into Lindos. The restuarants vary in price and quality but the hotel is probably the best choice although the wine is a little pricey! It is the perfect place for a chill out, to be spoilt and enjoy a little luxery. Will definitely go back if we can afford it! The sun beds are lovely too.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are good. All the rooms face the sea and have wonderful views. It doesn't take lo...

this is easily the fanciest hotel we have stayed and although looks very large as all facilities are spread out down hillside it does not feel crowded even when busy;
as there are 2 pools and the beach[plus small indoor pool and some rooms with plunch pools it never getstoo busyaround the pools;
surprisingly quiet and restful spot;
the beach is partly sand and partly shingle but sheltered so easy for swimming;
breakfast very good and buffet meal in main restaurant good;
we only ate in five senses restaurant on our last night and I regret not trying it sooner as food was excellent , easily our best meal during the holiday and staff very helpful about changing menu to suit you,also fantastic views;
Lindos itself it beautiful and easily reached by bus from outside hotel - walking is difficult as no pavement and on side of main road, plus very steep in places;
there is also plenty to do on the island - Rhodes old town and museum in knights hospital being especially worthwhile we had a fantastic holiday and although we don,t usually return to same place as prefer to see something new this is an island and hotel I would return to

Room Tip: we stayed in room 311A,a corner room which had views over lower pool and beach[very good]

Amazing hotel, fantastic service, quiet perfection! Not many hotels would be able to match this resort in levels of service, cleanliness, food, staff, views.....I could go on. From the beds to the bathrooms, to the balcony with that spectacular view, to the pool, the bar, the restaurant and even the gym, top notch in every aspect.Staff know you by name and there is a genuine friendliness and warm hospitality from each individual staff member.Breakfast was superb and being able to sit on the balcony overlooking the oasis was pure bliss.This hotel is most certainly up there as one of the best hotels I have ever had the privilege to say at.Exemplary service and an overall outstanding vacation - pity I didn't stay a second week.

This was our 4th trip back to Lindos Blu, and if I dare say was EVEN BETTER than the last visits. The service was out of this world and it was great to see so many of the staff returning year after year. Housekeeping very attentive to your needs and the restaurant staff have the most remarkable memories as to what each guest likes.
The breakfasts are just heaven and they will cook your special requests to order. The buffet meal or the set 4 course are also superb and the menu changes daily with a wide choice. I suppose if I had to find a tiny complaint - too much chocolate desserts - I am not into chocolate. Possibly look at the pricing of the fine dining but that is small fry.
We will be back next year ....... and the year after ...

We stayed here for 4 nights in July 2013 before going over to the other side of the island for 2 nights (at another 5 star hotel which was incomparably worse than Lindos Blu!).

We got one of the basic rooms, which is still expensive but definitely overall worth the money. The room was gorgeous – all rooms have amazing views and feel very private. Modern but comfy – home away from home feel even with the clean lines and modern décor. The room, and entire hotel, was just so well looked after and clean – impeccable really (and I am very OCD about cleanliness!). It obviously has a modern style so is not the ‘traditional’-type hotel but this is what we wanted. We were able to just relax and unwind here – being an adults-only hotel really made a difference. But the hotel overall just has a lovely, quiet, relaxed and very classy atmosphere.

The hotel is spacious and set out across the rocks which makes it seem ‘big’ but actually once you’re staying there you realise how secluded it feels and how the hotel seems perfectly spaced out to offer this peace and quiet. To get around the hotel there are a number of lifts, which we always thought at some point we would get stuck ‘waiting’ for, but this wasn’t the case, even though the hotel was full when we were there. This layout also obviously allows every room to have the beautiful view and privacy.

The only down-side, apart from being expensive (but worth it, and very much a fair price for what you get), is that the beach isn’t amazing, and it is a 5 min trip down the lifts and with a 2-3 min walk. It’s fine, but in Greece beaches can’t be ‘private’ for hotels, so there were some kids etc. on the beach. But we went on trips to other little beaches (which were definitely even busier!) and actually decided that the quiet atmosphere by the pools in the hotel were preferable for us.

The biggest thing for us, which will make us 100% return to stay here, was the service and the staff. This sets Lindos Blu as one of the best hotels we have stayed in across the world. The staff are unbelievably well trained, and the service is just amazing. Everyone was so nice, and just seemed so willing and genuinely happy to help. The room service, reception, restaurants…absolutely excellent…these guys seriously know what customer service is.

The other thing that made this hotel so wonderful is the food. Just so delicious, fresh, tasty and healthy! You will not believe how good the breakfast is. It’s a buffet (which I always thought meant that the food would be of a lower standard because it has been ‘sitting around’ for a while) – but this was so not the case. Fresh, perfectly cooked and just delicious! And this is definitely not the case in the majority of 5 star hotels around Lindos/Rhodes. How do they get perfectly ripe and delicious fruit every morning?!? Oh we wish we were back there now!

This place is head and shoulders above anywhere else on the island, even in Greece. Couldn’t recommend it more highly – and I think I am being totally honest and fair here. We stayed at the ‘Amathus Elite Suites’ (where we even had a room with a private pool) on the other side for 2 nights after this and it was just rubbish in comparison! And that is quite something considering we paid even more there and got a larger room with a pool – the ‘basic’ room at Lindos Blu is miles better because of the overall package that the hotel offers. Next year we will invest in staying in one of their private pool-rooms – yippee! ☺

What can I say about this hotel that is simple great. We stayed with our 16 year old daughter and it was fabulous! The staff are very helpful, food amazing, facilities first class and the views stunning. Anyone staying in Lindos should come here.
