I can only echo the previous reviews - this is truly an amazing hotel. The owners have really ticked all the boxes and made this an hotel that guests will certainly want to return again and again. To summarise:
Staff: extremely efficient and friendly and genuinely want to make your stay memorable.
Rooms: very well appointed. Excellent bathroom fitments, with large jacuzzi bath (from ours we could see the sea!!!) and very comfortable beds. Lovely coffee machine so you can make expresso and tea.
Food: we just had breakfast in the hotel that can only be described as outstanding - possibly the best cappuccino ever and a wonderful selection of food, including freshly made omelettes and creamy scrambled egg.
Location: built in to the hillside so everywhere has excellent views of the bay.
Beach: the small allocated beach for the hotel is sandy and the sea crystal clear. However, further along the beach is shingle and noisy.
Guests: the best thing is that it is couples only, so no screaming kids.
NEGATIVES
Restaurants: far too expensive for the average hotel guests. Most nights we were there the two restaurants were practically empty.
Beach: Should be made more exclusive for the Lindos Blu guests, with better quality seating etc.
Eating Out: Not enough choice near the hotel, one Taverna on the beach which was pretty empty at night. This meant you had to get a taxi into Lindos every night 12 euros return, plus your meal. The only really memorable meal we had was at Ambrosia. We ate at Stephany's and Cleopatra (you must try the feta cheese starter) but they were both pretty average. It would be nice if the hotel had its own courtesy bus to take you to and from Lindos. (We would have been more than happy to pay 2 Euros pp each way rather than giving money to the taxis.)
Thomson Rep: We booked through Thomson and their rep was absolutely useless.

We can only echo the previous excellent reviews. We returned home on the 15th July from a wonderful holiday and a very special hotel and although we have stayed in many hotels across the world this is one of the few we will definitely go back to. The hotel was beautifully designed and the staff keep it looking excellent , even with all that glass! The hotel facililites were spotless and everyone couldn't do enough for you. It was my birthday whilst there and the staff made sure it was a memorable one. Reception staff were so welcoming and we have to especially mention Valentina who was always so friendly and helpful, also Magda and Milia who made sure we always felt welcome. They recommended some good Tavernas in Lindos where the food was very good, and we dined in the A La Carte resaurant on the final night, which was wonderful fine dining, but also very expensive, so best for a special one off. The room was wonderful and spotless with spectacular views and luxurious facillites. There was only one thing which let the hotel down which was the beach, as an adult only hotel it was disappointing that the small beach was open to local youths who were noisy and intrusive. However we were more than happy as we had a junior suite with a shared pool with the room next door so with wonderful views and private terrace to pool we spent a very restful time in luxury.
However, we do also agree with the previous review that the Tour Operator Thomson were atrocious, we booked a VIP Trip to Marmaris which was not as it was advertised and were misled by the rep who when spoken to afterwards blamed us and denied she hadn't told us about it being not as described in the literature. She was unhelpful, unapologetic and sullen. Lucky we had such great staff at the hotel.
All in all a fabulous holiday in a spectacular location with excellent services and a luxurious envronment.

This is a great hotel and the staff are fantastic. I totally recommend it as it seems do most people who visit. The hotel web site is a very accurate representation. No children in the hotel and absolutely no disturbance from the hotel next door!!

There was some work on going to complete rooms but nothing intrusive. They also added a canopy to pool bar whilst we were there and that is a very positive addition given the sun exposure on the terrace. There are plenty of sun beds but a bit more shade would not go amiss.

One thing to consider is distance to Lindos. It is really too far to walk. The bus works OK in the day but is not really an option for eating out in Lindos at night. Reception will book taxis out and they arrive very promptly - round trip will cost 12 Euros. Cat hire , at least for some of your stay, is recommended. We got ours from the supplier in the hotel - a decent deal and choice of vehicles.

The main restaurant will cost you about 40 Euros pp. You get a choice of two main courses and access to a buffet for salads etc and desserts. The gourmet restaurant is more expensive but given the range of restaurants in Lindos we did not eat there. The hotel food is of excellent quality and breakfast was fabulous, a great range of food on offer including loads of fresh fruit and delicious bread.

My hubby & I visited the Lindos Blu on the 24th June for one week
to celebrate our forth coming 25th wedding anniversary.
As I write this I selfishly think that I would like to keep this gem well under wrap,so that it dosent get soo popular that we can never get a vacancy!!
All that has been said in the previous reviews are spot on,so firstly I will tell you that the hotels staff \are there soley to ensure that you are well looked after.A great thank you to all the restaurant staff including the bubbly Manager Valentina,Alex ,Tsambika, Chris,Marta ,Linda to name but a few.
If you want a change from the hotel & don't want to catch a Taxi to Lindos go to the beach & find The Azzurro lounge bar.You will find a relaxing friendly atmosphere with cream wicker lounges ( to put your feet up)
Here we were introduced to Captain Manolis who has his boat in the bay,he will take you out from 9am till 4pm for 20euros really good value, ask at the bar or you will spot him on the beach.
Thank you all at Lindos Blu,if you want to be close to Lindos & St Pauls Bay,you wont be dissapointed!!

We would echo all the other positive reviews on this hotel. We stayed at the Lindos Blu for a week in June and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were great, room was clean and modern. The A La Carte restaurant was a bit too posh for us but the food and service first class. Even the pool bar snacks were great! The only disppointment we had was that we both like walking between destinations e.g. hotel to town, town to hotel, hotel to restaurant etc. unfortunately there were no pavements at the side of the road and so we had to walk along the side of the road. While the greeks did not come over as bad drivers a few of the buses that passed us tended to get a bit close for comfort.
Oh and the tour company Thomsons - their inept staff tried their best to spoil the holiday. Dirty plane, multiple food spills in flight, dropped us off at wrong hotel on arrival, provided no practical information on tours e.g. start, duration, cover from sun, also told us the departure time was 21:30 instead of 20:30. Luckily we didn't trust them given their other ineptitude and turned up just over an hour early just in time to catch the coach. This happened to several families at different hotels and some had to taxi 55km to the airport. I could go on but ...

Hotel fab but I'll never travel Thomsons again!

Just returned from this beautiful new Hotel and stayed here for a week. Lovely room a green room decor. Very ultra modern chic appearance and wonderful staff who were very pleasant and made your stay welcoming. Everything was as we expected and more. The lift system in the hotel was a bit confusing but you get use to it after a few days. Breakfast was excellent with plenty off choice of foods. Lovely to sit out onm the terrace each morning in the warm sunshine staff very friendly. Little things like a "treat" around 7.30pm every evening a chocolate mini desert or fruit were bought to your room by a waiter, pool towels were changed everyday. Maid service everyday. Made to feel relaxed and welcomed.. One small point though is that it did appear to be a bit souless in the evening but this is probably what you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. It is positioned into a hillside and roughly 2 miles outside of Lindos.

We ate in the Hotel for one night as we opted for the Bed and Breakfast option and found this to be okay really because the Hotel does good food but if you want to experience "real greek food2 you need to go down to Lindos and sit out in the open air roof top gardens rather than being in the hotel environment. Pool area was beautiful and in fact the pictures of the hotel we found on the website and the tour operator (Thompsons) were exactly as photographed and in fact better. Superb views of the bay below and it had its own private beach which is shared with the adjoining Hotel Lindos Mare. Lindos Blu was for adults only and this suited us as we both wanted to be "children free" for the week and have a bit of peace ond quiet. We did have a problem one night when retiring to bed in that out new next door neighbours decided to play music late at night and kept us awake but we telephoned reception and they dealt with the matter promply for us and even apologised when checking out to. You need to hire a car when staying here unless you like the peace and solitude of the location of the hotel and you can wealk down to Lindos but it is on a busy main road and a night could be a problem. Taxis call at the hotel on request and charge 5 euros to take you to Lindos each way. We just hired a car and drove down to Lindos and parked which was not a problem.

Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Rhodes. We just hope that the Hotel dosent become grubby too soon as everything is in "tip top" order at the moment because it is new.

My partner and I stayed here between 24 June and 1 July. Having looked up reviews on this website we had originally booked to stay at the sister hotel, Lindos Mare, which is on a hillside under the Blu. On arriving at the Mare we were offered the chance to stay at the Blu for part of our holiday; subsequently we ended up staying all week and eating evening meals at the Mare.

The main part of the hotel is essentially a complex across several stories containing the reception, gym, indoor pool, steam room/sauna, spa, restaurants and bar at the top of the hillside with exceptional unobstructed views from height looking down and out across the bay. The rooms and suites are spread out below this, with 2 lifts down to the lower parts of the hillside - the bottom borders on the Lindos Mare hotel which you go through to get another lift down to the beach. There are two 'inifinity' pools which have the same amazing view out across the bay; one near to the main bars and restaurants and one at the bottom of the complex. Get in early in the day if you want to bag one that looks out directly out over the bay!

The interior of the main complex is very modern; with lots of shining metal, glass and open spaces. Likewise the rooms are finished to a high standard; we stayed in a "basic" double - this came with a spacious bathroom, containing jacuzzi bath, large shower and selection of lighting options; the bathroom had an electric screen covering a window to the bedroom with big double bed (my one complaint would be that this was very soft and induced a bit of backache). The room itself was roomy and modern including DVD player, wide-screen tv, glass-doored patio with sea view.

The whole premises were spotless; room service was twice daily and the odd present (chocolates, fruit etc) appeared in the room when we were out. The staff at reception and in the restaurant at breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much to ask for them and they went out of their way to be helpful without this being in your face or obtrusive. There was a huge choice of food at breakfast and the quality was very good; there is a chef on hand to knock up omelettes and eggs; together with cooked breakfast options; cereals; fruit; hams/cheeses; salads; waffles; pretty much anything and everything you could ask for. Room service food and bar drinks are quite pricey (especially with the pound weak against the Euro when we went); but they aren't beyond what you'd expect for a 5* hotel.

The beach itself is pretty nice; shelving slowly out to sea so shallow for a fair way out with very good snorkelling along the rocky foot of the hillside of the bay - look out for the curious upwellings where hot water and bubbles come out of parts of the seabed. There was no charge for the sunbeds and we never had a problem finding a set. There are a couple of restaurants off the beach, with a supermarket and hotels and apartment complexes further down the bay; although it isn't too built up. The bus stop to Lindos/Rhodes is very close to the main hotel entrance and both are in easy reach (Lindos is a few minutes away; Rhodes an hour or so). There are hire car companies based at the Lindos Mare and down in the bay.

I've stayed in some nice hotels both in the UK and abroad in my time but would rank this as one of the best. Very calm, quiet and relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings (the hotel itself and the views are exceptional), excellent quality and service throughout, and superb staff. I would definitely go again without any hesitation; only in future I think that we would pay the extra for one of the rooms which have their own miniature swimming pools outside their patios!
