Me and my family just returned from Lindos Gardens and all I can say is stay here it is great. The complex is lovely and modern and staff are friendly and very helpful. Lindos is beautiful and the village is really quaint, we found a fabulous restaurant called Melanos ..... go there it is an eating experience lovely food lovely staff. I could go on so take my advice go there .

Room tip: If you dont want steep climb ask for lower level.

We were really surprised and incredibly happy when we were dropped off at Lindos Gardens, as earlier reviews on here had been mixed. The complex was bigger than we expected, with several improvements clearly added recently and all of them are excellent.

Our room was about as far as you can get from the main hub of the largest pool and restaurant area - about 70meters up the steep(ish) hillside so we often used the elevator to get up to our floor, especially with bags and suitcases.

The staff were friendly and smiling all the time, helpful and chatty when needed, and made the time spent at the bar quite entertaining!

Overall the first and last reasons to stay at Lindos Gardens are its view of the acropolis and the five minute walk to Lindos town. It's the best spot on the island and the hotel is as close as you can get without staying in the town itself.

You probably won't get better for cheaper!

Room tip: Prepare to pay pretty steep aircon charges in mid-summer, and to climb a hill to the apartments with the very best views.

Just arrived home after our 9th visit to Lindos Gardens. As always the service we experienced was excellent. The Staff are always very friendly and polite. Our room was lovely, very spacious and comfortable and it is cleaned daily. This year we took my dad and brother to Lindos Gardens for the first time, they loved it too. The restaurant 'Kalispera' was very nice and had some great choices for evening meals. We ate breakfast every day in the restaurant and this was great value for money. Jack as always attended the Bar during the evening along with new Staff Emma and Spiros. Jack is a really lovely character, who always makes you feel relaxed and welcome. The new additions to the Bar Staff are also very nice and chatty, good fun.
THANK YOU for a lovely holiday once again.... xxxx

We stayed in studio 29A which is the rm with images of a broken fridge in the gallery. The rm has plenty of storage, very comfortable king size bed and a balcony view of the acropolis which in aug has to be visited at opening at 8am otherwise it gets very busy and hot! The cons of this rm is the bathroom which is small, the towel rail is above the toilet, temporary shower curtain that kept falling down, the shower head doesn't have an attachment to the wall. The kitchenette area is small if you would like to do any proper cooking I'd recommend the apartments. The other members of our party had lovely studios which had been modernised 8A and 33B.. We were just a bit unlucky but it didn't hinder our holiday!
The pool areas are great but sunbeds do go quickly! All the staff are very friendly, reception are very helpful in booking taxis organising late check outs. bar and restaurant staff were lovely as other reviews state happy hours are a must 1830-2030.

I've just got back from lindos gardens and wanted to write a review. Went with my sister and a friend (we are aged between 25-27). Lindos gardens is a beautiful hotel set on a mountain overlooking the acropolis and the sea. The views are amazing! We stayed in a 3 bed apartment which was cleaned daily and had all basic ammenities. We used all 3 beaches in lindos including the small beach next to St. Paul's- these are seriously beautiful beaches. We snorkelled and spent time jumping off rocks into the crystal clear water.
At night we ventured out and ate at several different roof top restaurants. We drank in a few bars including pals and 404!
Met some great people on our trip who also made the holiday memorable!
Emma and spiros are the bar staff at lindos gardens and they are both lovely people. Always chatty and want to make sure you have a great time. Jack also works on the bar but we found him to be very very rude to his staff! Very unprofessional infront of guests. Harry the waiter is also a gem and made our stay more enjoyable!!
Lindos is a beautiful place and we would return. The only thing making us reluctant is the price- it is very expensive compared to other Greek islands. My sister spent the same on this self catering holiday as she spent on a 10 day all inclusive to Dominican Republic!!! This is the only thing putting us off.
That said, the island is lovely, food is nice and lindos gardens is a great hotel! Just don't expect typical Greek prices!
