“A fine place to observe the hustle and bustle of Lindos Square”
Reviewed 23 August 2013

Perhaps the best thing about this restaurant is the chance it offers you to watch the constant commotion of the main square in Lindos, whether that be the be-hatted old man guiding traffic or people constantly being told off for parking in the Taxi only spaces. It all makes for very entertaining viewing whilst dining.

The food here is simple and well made and excellently priced. Nothing fancy or out of the ordinary but it does Greek cuisine very well and the service is excellent and knowledgeable. The pricing is also very competitive and a full meal with drinks is so very reasonable.

The loos have seen better days however and the location, if you don't fancy sitting above a traffic roundabout, can be more a downfall than a blessing.

“Great expectations came true!”
Reviewed 20 August 2013

We had dinners at Amfithea when we were in Lindos and the food was great! The greek tastes was very elegant and carefully made, the staff was quite friendly and helpfull and the prices were very resonable. We had great time there and we became friends with the boss and the staff. Every dish we taste was an unexpected pleasure. I totally recomend Amfithea if you ever be in Lindos!

Seated outside the service was great, the waiter gave advice and his opinions on dishes. Food was really good and good value, cheapest meal a have had so far in lindos but by far the best.

“Good food poor service”
Reviewed 6 August 2013

On the night we were there the waiter had the night off WhIlst the staff tried to do there best as more people arrived the service which was already stretched continued to decline. Our food was freshly prepared and was very good. Wanted to pay by card and was told no facilities available. Great shame

“An excellent fine dining experience!”
Reviewed 6 August 2013

My sister and I were in Lindos for a week's holiday and as we've both been before we thought we would try some different restaurants this visit. We saw this one had good reviews on Tripadviser and it is definitely the restaurant to go to if you want a more 'fine dining' experience. It's in an old house so very atmospheric with lots of room between the tables. The staff are very knowledgeable and the food and wine were really excellent - it would have cost a fortune in London but our bill was ridiculously cheap! It's just out of the village - go to the main square and it's on the left on the first floor so try and get a table near the window, or on the terrace, overlooking the square and the coastline.
