Just returned from an 11 night stay in room 717, which was a seafront pool room on a breakfast only basis. I can highly recommend the private pool, as the temperatures soared it was lovely to dip in and out without having to move far! Most things have already been said about the hotel but I felt that the hotel have 'upped their game', I felt the staff were more friendly and overall the service was slicker than previous years. If you want peace during the day and don't mind a 5 min taxi into Lindos consider this hotel over Lindos Blu Hotel as I'm sure you would enjoy the space around the complex.

Room Tip: Blocks 7, 8 and 9 are best - central to everything, sea views and quiet

The welcome was helpful and informative . We're in room 518 and have a private pool. The room is very good with all amenities bath with separate toilet an shower cubicles. TV with cnn bbc news in English. Tea making facilities topped up daily free an mini bar charged for top ups. Good safe provided free an wifi available everywhere at no charge. The convenience store is small with very limited supplies. We're staying half board and the breakfast is wide ranged in choice but we're finding the evening meal very samey buffet style. Our attempts to go al la carte has been fruitless so far ( we suspect due to the lack of tables , but we're on the waiting list ). The sensai is good value for a range of meals ( snacks an full meals during the day ). We will comment further during or stay. Ps. Lindos is a good 45 mins away on foot.

This was our forth visit to the Aquagrand and we loved every minute! The hotel is immaculate with large spacious rooms, with a beautiful aspect from any balcony. We were in room 521 and had a beautiful view of the pool and out to sea. The hotel has a pebbled beach and two beautiful pools which you never struggle to get a bed by no matter what time you turn up, the setting is beautiful! You pay a deposit for towels and can take fresh ones each day. There is also waiter service on the beach and sometimes round the pool so you don't have to lift a finger! It over 16s olnly, so there's no splashing round the pool, just peace and relaxation.
The staff at the Aquagrand are lovely and made us feel so welcome as returning guests. Captain George in particular took great care of us and ensured all was well at breakfast and lunch. We stayed B&B as we love to go into Lindos to the lovely restaurants there on an evening so can not comment on the evening meals, but if breakfast and lunch are anything to judge by I'm sure the standard is very high! At breakfast there is a huge range of choice, eggs omelettes, pastries, cereals, waffles, pancakes etc, spoilt for choice!
Lunches are the same, if you try the food on the beach restaurant, Thespina will look after you, she is very welcoming and speaks amazing English! The food in Olivino by the pool is equally good for lunch, greek slads, pizza, gyros, etc, great quality and reasonably priced.
We would walk into Lindos on an evening which took about 30 mins and got a taxi back for 6 euros. A taxi in costs 8 euros. It's definitely worth a visit, with some lovely restaurants and little bars and a beautiful view of the acropolis which you see from all the roof top restaurants which have a lovely romantic atmosphere.
Miss Aphrodite the guest relations lady is lovely too and will take care of your needs if you would like to hire a gazebo or book private dining, anything is possible!
All in all we loved this hotel and the experience just keeps getting better! Cant wait to go back!!!

It’s the first time that I am writing a review for a hotel but I would like share my experience at Aquagrand. This June, it was the 4th time we spent our vacation there. I had heard a lot about Greek hospitality and I have visited a lot of Greek islands . But it’s worth to mention hospitality experienced from this resort’s owners and staff. They treat me and my husband in such a way that we feel exceptionally welcomed. So kind and warm people, and still so professionals. They give attention to detail! It’s not only the surrounding setting, the resort and the facilities that are just amazing but it’s also Aquagrand’s people that make this resort unique. The way they welcome you at the arrival, the way they treat you at your staying. Since the 2nd time we went there, they remember exactly what we are asking for at our staying. Which facilities we use, even the wines that we prefer! A highly recommended resort!

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are highly recommended

There is no doubt AquaGrand Exclusive Deluxe Resort is more than a 5 star hotel!
The best resort that I have ever stayed at. Perfect environment and facilities, amazing staff and service. Well maintained in a stunning setting! A special mention to Blue Fin restaurant situated right on top of the waves, where we enjoyed exquisite seafood dishes.

Room Tip: Highly recommend private pool room with sea view! Amazing combination of zen and luxury!

This hotel was actually our second choice, the one we wanted to book being unavailable. Well, what a lucky break that turned out to be? our stay at the Aquagrand was absolutely lovely, and I'm glad we couldn't book our original choice.
The hotel is very peaceful. It is an adults only resort and at times during the day, there's hardly a voice or sound to be heard. In the evenings we could hear a little noise from the hotel just along the coast, but this wasn't at all disturbing. The hotel has it's own entertainment on some evenings, but due to the way the rooms are spread out over the site, noise is never an issue.
The main restaurant is where breakfast and buffet evening meals are served. We were on half board and ate in the buffet restaurant a few times. The food there is good, although on one evening we felt it was all a bit tired and noticed that some dishes weren't being replaced when empty, even though it was nowhere near time for the place to close. It's also worth mentioning that despite this being a buffet restaurant, there is a dress code of smart casual and this means long trousers for men. (rather oddly, tailored shorts are a "No" but denim jeans are OK.)
We also ate in the Blue Fin on a "Full Moon" theme night and the food and service was absolutely excellent. If you book a table there, ask to be seated in one of the small cabanas. You'll have your own dining area, looking out over the sea and it really is something special.
We stayed in a sea-view pool suite and I can't fault it. Beautifully equipped, including iPod dock, tea/coffee making equipment and mini bar and bottled water delivered every day in the morning. The room was spotlessly clean and kept clean by a very hard working, but unfailingly cheerful lady, (despite the roasting temperatures)! The pool is on the small side, but perfect for a quick cool down after sunbathing. The hotel also has two other pools; a smaller one close to the beach and an absolutely massive main pool, which has plenty of sun loungers and due to its size, is never crowded.
The beach is mainly shingle and swimming is from a platform or from rocks. Beach shoes are available for about 5 to 6 Euros in Lindos and I'd recommend them to make getting in and out of the water easier. We were also lucky enough to have use of a beach cabana included in with our room, and this is just heavenly; reading on a peaceful beach, (the loudest noise is generally pages of books being turned and the occasional splash from someone diving in to the sea,) in the shade, lounging on a soft mattress and fluffy towels. There's even a bar service. What's not to like?
Lindos town is about a 30 minute walk away, all on pavement, with a few uphill parts, but at an amble, it's OK. It's really worth a visit and there are literally hundreds of bars and restaurants to chose from. We walked back from Lindos on a couple of nights but I'd recommend getting a taxi, as the street lights have a habit of going off suddenly and there are some high kerbs and large holes in the pavement which can make walking in the dark a bit of an adventure. The cab fare is about 6 Euros.
In summary, Aquagrand didn't just come up to expectations, it exceeded them and I really hope we will be returning.

Room Tip: It's worth paying the extra for a sea-view room with pool.

Just back from eleven nights at Aquagrand. Arrived 12.15pm after a two and half hour delay from East Midlands with Jet2. Greeted at reception with cold towels and sparkling wine. Taken to our room to find a bottle of champagne on ice, a huge bowl of fruit and a cold meat and cheese salad in the fridge. What great service. Our room, 913, seafront with pool was excellent. Our pillows were hard for the first night, rectified next morning after choice of six from a pillow menu.
We ate in the elements restaurant and were very impressed with the attentiveness of staff, especially Andronis and Olga. The buffet was excellent and shared with the Pentapolis restaurant. Plenty of choice for breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, continental and English choices. Themed dinners gave varied choice with well cooked food, plenty of cold and hot choices. The wine list is expensive and like all restaurants expensive. The Sommelier, Aleksandris was very helpful and after explaining what we liked (and what price we were willing to pay) suggested a nice Greek Rose which was not on the menu, which we liked and had nearly every night – at €26 an average price.
The layout of the hotel is excellent, with the pictures on the website not giving it full justice. Yes there are plenty of quirky seats and sculptures but what the hotel does have is friendly sincere staff who were all ready to greet you with a smile. Drink prices are on a level with hotels of the same ilk and were what we expected to pay. The only complaint being the price of water, which should be a lot cheaper, especially with the high temperatures we experienced (and it will only get hotter!). Prices for water is much cheaper in the shop than from the minibar as we found out towards the end of our holiday.
We ate lunch at the Sensia beach bar, a la carte menu with waiter/waitress service (a special mention for the attentive service of Thespina) an excellent choice but beware, pizzas and club sandwiches should be shared. It’s a pity that there weren’t smaller portions of the salads as well – even though we managed to force them down.
The beach is stoney and we were always able to get sunbeds no matter what time of day we went. It seems to be one of the few places where people are not up at the crack of dawn laying out towels. If you have a pool room you are given two pool towels. We didn’t realize that they were for the beach as well and got two extra with €40 deposit. You can swap them on the beach anytime of day from the beach attendants stand, on your last day he will give you a receipt to hand back for your deposit. You do need shoes to go in the sea. Snorkelling was good with plenty of fish.
The Zen bar is the epitome of quirkiness, with all sizes and shapes of seat and cushions. Two lovely waitresses who were attentive, efficient and friendly.
All in all this is an excellent hotel, quiet and peaceful with staff, many I have not mentioned who provide a 5 Star service, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Room Tip: Seafront pool room 913. Sun until 3.00pm. Great views. Private pool
