There are 2 beaches with sun beds at either end of the bay. The water is warm, blue and beautiful. Make sure that you take your goggles with you as there is lots to see under the water. If you are a reasonable swimmer you can stroke it out from one beach to the other and back through a break in the rocks and into the sea. There are no real currents and St Pauls Bay and your fantasy and imagination run wide as you swim in this increadible deep blue bay. The beach restaurant on the town side is my pick for a great place to eat. It's surrounded by a vegetable garden with terraces carved out of the cliffs. The staff are charming and the food is simple and good. We also had dinner there and it was a magical romantic night by the water.
