Coming to the end of a lovely weeks stay at the Atrium Thalasso.

Hotel - Lovely layout, large selection of swimming pools which ,means it does not get overcrowded. There are a large number of different nationalities, French, Spanish, Dutch and a lot of Russians (which are all friendly) not many English which didn't bother us as the other children still played with our daughter. We actually preffered that it wasn't overrun with to many British people, it seemed more peaceful ;)

Hotel was very clean, we had a room on the 2nd floor with garden view. We went on a B&B basis, only ate in hotel one night which was a buffet style at €20 per adult and €10 per child. Breakfast had a great selection and all of the staff were very attentive my partners coffee was topped up every 5 seconds.

A few reviewers have said maids just let themselves in, we didn't find this to be the case they always knocked first and just poked their heads in. If you know room gets cleaned at 5pm just stay out for half an hour or so.

Rooms were very clean and quiet, powerful shower and towels replaced if you put them in the bath.

Beach - If you're dreaming of a white beach this isn't for you. Its all shingle and pebbles, we didn't spend any time at the beach.

Rhodes - We took the Rhodes Saturday tour (FYI its not a tour they drop you of and pick you up but this suited us) from around 10am once you arrive until 3:30pm which is just enough time to sight see and grab lunch.

Lindos - Taxi took 10 mins from hotel into Lindos and cost €14, cost €9 on the way back. TOP TIP - wear shoes with a good grip, I had standard sandals on and slipped several times, way to top is very slippery. Wasn't too impressed with the sand at Lindos beach was a lot of cigarette ends. €8 for two sunbeds, we did hire a pedalo which was great fun for an hour and cost €10.

Where to eat - We had lunch at Milos taverna approx €30 - 35 for child portion of slag bol, chicken ceaser salad and other main meal, lrg table water and a mythos beer.

Dinner - We ate most nights at the taverna across from hotel called Konstantin the service was fantastic and food amazing, also very well priced. Menu was extensive and lots of traditional food to choose from. They also gave our daughter free ice cream on two or of the four nights we had been which was a nice offer.

Animals - There's a few street dogs and the normal cats but they won't bother you and staff hush them away very quickly.

Supermarket - there's a shop across from hotel which sells everything you need including fresh fruit.

Price - We went B&B basis two adults a and 1 child (age 6) and took approx €1300 Euros, which you'all need as Rhodes isn't cheap and anything in hotel is as you would expect - a little expensive (€4.50 for a tiny coffee).

We always stay 5* when holidaying at home and im always paranoid that the hotels abroad wont be a high standard but we would rate the hotel 5* for abroad as its just what you would expect, prob a very good 4*+ if it was based in the UK.

We don't really go to the same place twice but would highly recommend to friends and family wanting to visit Rhodes.

Weather - Absolute bliss, approx 30' with a very slight breeze.

Couldn't fault the holiday at all, travelled as a family.

Room Tip: Rooms starting with a 5 face the generators which may bother some people but they aren't that no...

Stayed here for a week at the end of June with my boyfriend. It has amazing points that match its 5 star certificate but also some parts that let it down. I am a travel consultant so deal with a lot of hotels on a daily basis and the staff here are amazing. Very friendly and happy to help. The only problem was a couple of days we went up to our room at about 5pm and it still hadn't been made up which is annoying when you wanted to get showered and go out. Staff would also knock and then walk straight in!

The pool area was lovely with a good choice of pools just quite crowded.

The spa was nice, had a back and neck massage - wouldnt say it was 5 star but it was nice.

The food at Asterias was amazing and definately good value for money. The staff, setting and menu here is worth a try! The buffet in the main restaurant however is something to avoid. I might just be fussy but the food wasnt a 5 star standard and there were flies all over it. Choosing a la carte at the main restaurant would probably be better. The same goes for breakfast it was pretty bog standard and not 5 star quality although there was a good choice.

The rooms were nice we were upgraded to a sea view room and it was spacious and had complimentary food and wine. The bathroom was lovely but the rooms are a bit dated and could do with a revamp. The balcony was a great size but then let down with shoddy furniture that wasnt 5 star quality and pretty sad looking flower pots.

The overall stay was great but not consistent of a 5 star property. It is an amazing 4 star or an average 5 star. If you just want a relaxing beach holiday then I would still recommend staying here. It can get overrun with Russians and the food in the main restaurant isn't great but everything else makes up for it. It is in the middle of nowhere so if you want somewhere busy dont stay here but most of Rhodes is like this to be honest. Lindos is a 10 min taxi ride away and costs about 12 euros to get to so there is stuff to do. We enjoyed it overall but just be aware of the food in the main restaurant - I wouldn't go all inclusive.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 325 which was a sea view room with a big balcony and I would recommend it. The roo...

My wife, son and I stayed here for a week in June 2013 on a bed and breakfast basis. All the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly - the breakfast team on the outside patio and Pani and his colleague at the pool bar were outstanding. Rooms are fine - very few actually have a sea view but this is no big deal as the sea view isn't great anyway. Our rooms were on ground floor with small patio looking out onto the garden / pool are and the view was fine.

Breakfast was very good. Light lunches available from pool restaurant. We dined twice at the a la carte restaurant Asterias, where the food and service were excellent. We also dined at various local tavernas (walkable or short taxi ride) and at 3 restaurants in Lindos - a short €8-12 taxi ride.

The resort was full when we visited but there are many sun beds on the beach and around the two main pools so the dreaded 'towel on a sunbed' routine was never necessary. The gym and spa complex is great - again the staff were very pleasant - and we used these facilities quite a lot.

Overall a high quality resort with great staff and service.

Room Tip: Very few rooms seem to have a sea view, and the sea view is nothing special - garden view rooms are...

This was our first visit to Rhodes. We had originally booked 2 weeks A/I at The Kresten Royal Palace, but our luck was in!! The greedy management there, stated there was an "overbooking issue" (all Jet2.com customers were dumped after being confirmed, and their rooms re-sold, to mainly Russians). We were transferred to the Atrium Palace, and thank goodness, as the Tripadvisor reviews showed nothing but problems at The Kresten.
The Atrium Palace was delightful. We arrived at midnight to professional staff on reception, and shown to our room, where there was a generous arrival welcome tray with a bottle of wine, water, beers and fruit.
The hotel is set in ample grounds with beautiful gardens and choices of pools. The buffet dining was excellent with varied, fresh and delicious food, always hot and well laid out, and wine of a decent standard. A special thanks to Savvas, the restaurant manager and Manolis our dinner time waiter. The main bar was run very professionaly - can't remember the head barman's name but his cocktail skills were awesome.
The only downside we had, was that after the kids' disco finished at 9.30pm, there were no other options available for all these excited youngsters and they were running around the bar and reception foyer area often creating mayhem (and a danger to themselves) while often the parents were oblivious or not bothered.
On our departure, Apostolos, the hotel manager, wished us well and promised us a 30% discount and an upgrade should we book again. We are sure we will take him up on this.

Room Tip: We had a side room with sea view in the main block (231) and could not have chosen better.

We had been staying at the Atrium Palace Hotel (Rodos, Greece) from 14/06/2013 till 28/06/2013 and would like to congratulate Hotel team with an excellent service.
The hotel garden is extremely clean and beautiful. We’ve got excellent experience of high quality service from hotel team. Polite staff was welcoming us with wonderful smiles and will to assist us in any issue. We would like to give a special thanks to Russian speaking receptionists Anna and Yana. Thanks to them problems with wi-fi connection were solved in a seconds, they helped to change dinner to supper, and held last check-in fast and friendly. That made our vacation really smooth and comfortable.
Rooms were cleaned every day and we got pleasant small chocolate surprises every night/ Such small things make great impression and help to relax.
Also restaurant service was excellent. When you start your day with smiling waiters and delusions food it can’t go wrong .
We would like to thank hotel’s Management for professional staff who made our vacation unforgettable.
Best regards, Lyudmyla and Alexandr Sharbenko.

Stayed here for a few nights end of may 2013. First of all: the room, a junior suite was nice and comfortable with a very big private balcony. Also nice: the pools area. Given that it was very early in the season there were plenty of sunbeds and quite sunny spots to be found at one of the 6 pools. Staff friendly, English and Russian spoken.
The breakfast area and the other restaurants are very big and have no atmosphere. Had our included breakfast there but never even considered having diner in there. Probably due to the fact that this hotel complex can house an impressive amount of guests.
Most of the guests were families with kids and often grandparents.
The hotel is in a very tiny and partly abandoned village. To get to Lindos takes about 10 minutes by car, taxi €10. Limited number of typical tavernas surround the hotel sufficient for the few days we stayed. When you stay a bit longer you might want to venture further away.
If we ever go back to Lindos we would book a smaller hotel closer to Lindos

Theres no other place we would like to be to celebrate our wedding anniversary!
Just got back from an amazing week in Atrium Palace..

Our honeymoon was made special in 2012, & yet again for our 1st wedding anniversary 19/06/2013 was even more amazing.. Atrium staff have exceeded their generous, caring & loyalty to us. We arrived to find a free upgrade compared to our junior suite we had booked, thanks so much to Chara Skoumprou & Mr George Koliados from the bottom of our hearts for this. Everything about Atrium is 5* especially restaurant staff, (Savvy, Manager) who is an amazing, thoughtful & kind man who couldnt help us enough. Also (Pari) our breakfast friend who waited on us exceptionaly & Katrina. always with a smile. The food was a definate 5* all you needed to fulfill your appetite. We also ate in Asterias restaurant which is part of Atrium, the food amazing (Lobster Night) a must. Our waiter Valasis was the sweetest man you could wish to meet, thanks Valasis for the amazing pizza you made for us on our last day, yummy.. Thanks to all staff at Asterias you are all amazing, and Damitris (Asterias manager) you are a top guy.
Although the food in Atrium is faultless, we like to eat locally too. Konstantin Taverna next to Atrium serve fantastic meals & Maria & her son looked after me & my husband as if we were family. A big thank you to Anne & Panaiotos (Reception) Xmas cards will definatley be exchanged.
Last but not least! Our maid Eftihia! What a genuine, loving, caring, hardworking woman you are.. We miss you..
We will defiantley be back next year to your wonderful hotel Atrium, but for longer this time!!

All you trip advisors! If you are thinking of booking Atrium? Just go ahead & book it, you wont be disappointed.. Any questions? We would be pleased to answer about this wonderful hotel.
