Overall, this hotel was excellent. The staff were professional and friendly at all times, and the hotel was scrupulously clean. The room was nicely designed; bordering on chintz, but simple and not too modern. The side-sea view gave us a nice balcony with a view of the sea off to the left and a large mountain in front. The breakfast was immense, lots to choose from, and endless good coffee! A nice touch was being greeted at the restaurant every morning by the manager, with a friendly and personal "kalespera" - made us feel welcome. The pools are lovely, again very clean, with nice loungers at the side. The water was cold but we were there late April - it gets hotter during high season of course. Nice touch was a bar in the pool with a friendly barman. It is cheaper to pay cash for bar drinks than to charge it to your room by the way. The gardens around the pools are expertly well tended and in late April early May when we were there, the smell of honeysuckle was divine. The beach was OK, but we hired a car from the place over the road (cheaper than Marathon Car hire by a long way) and nipped to Lindos for a truly lovely seaside. Slight disappointment was room service - the food menu was very tempting, however when we phoned up to order, we were told they only had "toast"!! Overall this didn't impede our enjoyment of a lovely, clean and friendly hotel, well situated (45 mins from airport, 10 mins drive to stunning Lindos) and we will definitely be back again.

We stayed for a week at the beginning of May and enjoyed it. We liked the pool areas, both outdoor and indoor, amthough the outdoor pools were too cold to swim when we were there. The buffet breakfast and evening meal are excellent, with a large variety of quality food, both Greek and international. When we arrived it was at the beginning of the season and the restaurant was quiet and nice. By the end of the week it was more like a canteen. The restaurant staff were very friendy. I mention our waitress Maria who was very helpful. We had a junior suite, which was fairly nice. It was positioned closed to the reception, so there was some noise from arriving coaches, etc. We could also hear the donkeys braying in the fields, but that did not bother us. The room had a flat screen TV, with some English channels, such as Sky News, CNN, BBC News. The TV picture quality was not so good. The hotel has free Wifi, but it did not work in the room with my iPad. They can give you a cable to connect a laptop in the room if you ask at reception. There is also a kettle for tea and coffee in the room. A lady came around a lot to ask if we had enough tea, coffee, etc which was nice. They changed the towels every day without being asked. The bed was two singles pushed together, rather than a double. Not many of the rooms have a sea view. I think all the rooms have balconies. Ours had a mountain view, which was okay. They also have several small "villas" in the area of the hotel towards the sea. These looked nice, each has its own little pool, but they looked a bit dark inside as they don't have many windows. One disadvantage of the hotel is that it is a bit isolated. It's too far to walk into Lindos and there is no nice village to walk to nearby. The taxi if you order it in the hotel costs 12 euros to Lindos and 9 euros to come back. We decided to hire a car and used a company called HB, which is on the small road directly outside the hotel, next to the Milos restaurant. They have small cars for a reasonable price, which allowed us to visit the who island. The hotel's beach is not nice - it's pebble and not very well maintained. In the area around the beach there was some rubbish. The town of Lindos is very nice, especially if you don't go at high season. Two restaurants I can really recommend there are Skala which is on the beach and Mythos, which is near the main square. The Lindos acropolis is worth a visit, it costs 6 euros, but take care especially if you have children, because there are some places with very steep dangerous cliffs, which, incredibly, do not have a wall or chain in front of them.
At the end of our stay at Atrium Palace we asked whether we could stay a bit longer in the room than normal (the normal leaving time is midday). They said that we could, but they charged an extra 25 euros for that, which I found a bit excessive.

We stayed here a few years ago for 2 weeks and had great weather at the end of October. The repost was very quiet and many place shut down for the season but only a bus ride away from Lindos and Rhodes town which was great. The hotel good and the best feature of the hotel was the pool area oh and a good shop in the basement also!

We went here in September which is towards the end of the season in Rhodes but it was utterly fantastic. We have been to Kalathos before, which is where the Atrium is, it's not in Lindos, and we loved it. We stayed in the Hotel Daniel last time we were here (many years ago) which was possibly a 2 star hotel at the time (but more like a 1 star) but this has now closed and we thought why not try the Atrium Palace. I could not recommend this place enough, rooms are lovely, staff are lovely and the food is just to die for. It's completely air conditioned everywhere so nice and cool inside and the beach, although shingle and pebbles, is right outside the room. The good thing about this place is it's quiet and there were hardly any people on the beach or in the actual town of Kalathos itself. Different story in Lindos - busy, cramped and not very nice. Anyway if anyone is thinking of going to the Atrium don't think twice, it's absolutely fabulous! Can't fault it. It is pricey but you pay for what you get in my opinion! Almost forgot to say, they have rooms with private pools but they were outside our budget.

Room Tip: Try and get a room on the end on the ground floor if possible.

We stayed at Atrium Palace again this year and I should say that the hotel had been under major renovation which made it even better. The main resto has all new windows now and the food is even better thanks to a new chef. The service was good last year and it is the same, all staff is friendly and quick. Our special thank you to Savvas, who does everything to satisfy the guests in a very professional and friendly manner. Our waitresses Grammatiki and Maria always were friendly and made our breakfast and dinner pleasant and nice experience.
All the hotel was newly painted, looked fresh and clean. The same nice barman Pani with his tasty drinks. Very good cleaning made by Tatiana. Reception ladies are always friendly and helpfull. The rental car service is right near reception, good cars. Lovely cristall clean sea. Good spa center.
There are still some minuses but I am sure the management is aware and this will be fixed in future too. The shower at the beach needs to be changed and closed in a cabin. It is open which makes showering uncomfortable. The indoor pool at the back of the hotel needs renovation. Unfortunately we did not like the Asterias resto. The food was not good at all. The opposite taverna Milo's offers much better food for double less price. Julia and Tim are always happy to see the guests from Atrium. Spa pool needs cleaning. The room towels are on the way to be changed.
Overall it is a very nice place, yes a bit remote but it is what we prefer. We prefer Atrium Palace from Others 2 Atriums, it has an atmosphere. Platinum reminded us a very clean and .. new hospital. Prestige is lovely but way too far. So we will be back again to Atrium Palace)

Room Tip: Higher floor.
