We stayed at this hotel for a week on the 25th August. I choose this hotel for our wedding after reading lots of reviews and doing lots of research but it definately paid off! Nicola is the wedding planner at the hotel and she is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and she will go out of her way to make your day perfect. We got married at 6pm and it was still very hot but definately worth it! We booked our photographer ourselves - Gallery photography www.gallery-photography.net which is owned by Karen & Chris, they came to meet us a day before the wedding to find out what type of photos we wanted and they were lovely, very friendly and down to earth. The photo's were beautiful - if you would like to see any please email me: leahtanner@hotmail.com
We had our meal then in the Asterias restauarant which was amazing! The food and services was outstanding. They would be coming round to top up your wine/water and they were on hand for everything. Nicola stays until the end of the night so if you need anything she is there for you. We stayed down by the Asterias restaurant until around 11:30pm and then some people moved up to the main bar but to be honest its a long day so a lot of people just headed home then.

We were a party of 10 that stayed at the Atrium Palace (20 guests came to the wedding but some stayed in Lindos) and we were lucky enough to get upgraded to a room with a private pool so you opened the patio doors and had your own pool with deck area. The hotel is on a very big complex so very spacious, the pool was never too busy and there was always plenty of loungers. The pool bar staff are also very friendly.

We were H/B and the food at the hotel I would rate as 4* it would have been nice to have had more choice but we didnt go hungry so we shouldnt complain! They ask you to choose your table in the evening and they like you to sit there throughout your stay but to be honest we liked to move around and if you just ask the waiter they will find a different table for you. The downfall about the restaurant is that it wasnt air conditioned, this was a huge downfall because it was about 35 degrees every day and it wasnt pleasant eating food while sweat was dripping down your arm! We did complain to the manager and they said that it had broke but who knows they might have just been trying to save money! You can also swap your evening meal for lunch if you wanted too.

The beach is just small stones and pebbles but to be honest I prefer to lay by the pool anyway. The sea is very clean and clear so we just went down there for a little dip at the end of the day.

The drinks at the hotel are what you would expect to pay at a 5* so in the day we would just pop to the supermarket to get snacks/pop/water which is just accross the road and it was open until 11:30pm which was handy.

We went into Lindos which was about a 10 minute taxi ride, it isnt cheap to get around we would pay 15 euros to get there and 10 euros to get back. Its a lovely little village with windy streets and lots of roof top restaurants. We ate out twice and you have some fantstic views.

We went to the water park which is a good day out, its about 45 minutes away and we did the trip with Thomson and left about 10am and got back and 5ish, I think that was about 45 euros so not too bad.

Overall we had a fantastic time, the week flew by and we cant wait to go back!

My husband and I had our wedding at Atrium Palace in Rhodes Sept 09. The hotel was fantastic, the wedding co-ordinator Nicola was so helpful. We booked through Thomas Cook and the wedding team weren't very good. I contacted Nicola at the hotel directly throughout all of the planning of the wedding and she made lots of helpful suggestions and sent pictures menus etc.
The hotel itself was extremely clean and the staff were so friendly. The food was buffet style and was very good.
We had a room with a private pool which was fantastic.
The wedding reception at the hotel was perfect, we arrived at the beach after being married at St Pauls chapel and we were greeted with champagne. We had a table at the Asterias restaurant facing the beach and had a fantastic 3 course dinner with so much food. Followed by a party at the bar inside the hotel. The next morning we had a huge breakfast brought to our room!
I would definitely recommend this hotel for weddings romantic holidays, or even family holidays as they seemed to have a lot for children to do.
The spa is lovely and I had a very relaxing massage, complimentary as we had our wedding at the hotel.
The only one negative about the hotel is that it is a little bit out in the middle of no-where. There are 2 other restaurants in the area as it is s little way from Lindos. However a bus was very cheap into Lindos and taxis didn't take long although you pay a little extra as they have to come out of the way. Reception call the taxi for you.
Overall we loved the hotel and would definitely come back one day.

We just came back from Atruim Palace , we had a great time. The hotels rooms are clean beds are comfortable. The food was good very big breakfast buffet and dinner with large choises of salads, greek specialties and desserts even though the main courses were dissapointing we would have enough just with the buffet! The drinks are very expensive, specially the wine!
The hotel's gardens are beautiful realaxing and cooling!
The people in and outside the hotel were great! We were very surprised by their hospitality!
The pool was great! They have a baby pool and a small playground , mini disco at night our 2 year old had a blast !
The beach is just a small walk away , very tranquil and clean , peebles not sand this was ideal for us since sand tends to get eveywere!
Only a few kils away from Lindos wich is deffenetly worth visiting!
Overall we were satisfied with this Hotel and would recomend it to anyone looking for a nice and tranquil holliday!

Nowhere in the internal aspect of this hotel is it a 5*, more like a 3*. The beds are twin and hard (and they won't stay if put together). There are about 3 channels in English and they are BBC News and CNN as well as one other which keeps freezing during any film in the evening. If you speak German there is plenty to watch. The rooms are not as clean as they could be and it was probably swept twice during our two week stay. The shower head came out of the wall and the plug didn't fit the bath. Our biggest issue was the restaurant which was so hot (the air con was never on - or affected by the open doors) that you couldn't sit there to eat. It was unbearable. The food was ok but the staff were so hot and sweaty that their shirts stuck to them. There were constant complaints while we were in there and the staff just tell you to complain to the manager. At first we tried to do this but were told to fill in a form when we left. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful and did all they could. Eventually we demanded to see the manager one night when we left during the meal because my partner was wet with sweat and I felt faint. He was never available and we saw a British marketing and sales woman who offered us breakfast in our room and a complimentary late check out. The pool is a 5* area and really pretty. There is no poolside service though. The other problem is that the hotel is miles from anywhere and there is little choice of where to eat. We did find a really nice chilled bar called 'Mo Vida' just opposite which is worth checking out. Lindos is gorgeous and worth some time. However, it is the most expensive holiday we have ever taken and everything is massively overpriced. The gym is really nice but the spa is very pricey. The reason we had a good time was the beautiful weather and the friendly people. Take a lot of money and just be prepared that it is not 5*.

We stayed in the atrium In June for our wedding and it was fantastic!!
We had around 50 guests and everything was perfect, we had a 5 course meal which was beautiful, followed by the nicest wedding cake I've ever tasted!

Nicola the wedding planner there is amazing she dealt with absolutely everything nothing was too small or too big, she even arranged fireworks (which were a lovely suprise to us from my parents) the day would not have Gone as smoothly without nicolas help so
thank you!!

We got married on the lawn area in front of the asterias restaurant, we used exquiste lindos for our flowers and centrepieces etc which were beautiful and Avalon photography for our photos. We even managed to find a saxaphone player last minute, I would definately recommend to anyone wishing to stay at the hotel and espicially those thinking about getting married there!!

Overall a very nice Hotel with just a couple of blips .
Lack of a/c in public areas and ants in the bathroom , not numerous however.
Plus points- Pani !!
Crazy lovely man at the Pool Bar , worth returning to the hotel on the strength of him alone.....represents all that is good about the Atrium Palace.
All staff very friendly and welcoming , would like the pool bars to stay open a bit longer ( close at 5.30pm ).
Would we come back ? Definately , as long as Pani stays !
Also worth mentioning a local restaurant in Lindos called Mythos which is excellant and you may recognise a couple of familiar faces too.........
The Patons .
