This hotel is one of the most relaxing places we've ever stayed at. The location suited us perfectly. Far enough out of town to be isolated, close enough to enjoy Lindos itself. As others have said, it's a good walk to Lindos town and St Pauls or Lindos beach's, in reality you need to give yourself a good 15 minutes to walk up the hill, but we did it every other day and found it tolerable, (don't forget to bring some water). The hotel is very, very clean and the food on offer for breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Our room was one of the new Superior ones with private pool, it also had its own patio with two sun-loungers and a table and two chairs. The room had a massive double bed, which was really comfortable and huge pillows. Our son slept on a sofa bed in the room, which he said as very comfortable. Sheets and towels were changed regularly by two lovely ladies who attempted to teach us new Greek phrases every day! The Air-con in the room was really efficient and quiet running and could be left on all night without disturbing us. The shower was possibly the best we've ever experienced in Greece, nice and powerful and the temperature was static. As one reviewer said the main road was only 20m from the front of the hotel, but we didn't experience any noise problems from it day or night. Wifi is advertised as being available in reception, but we could pick it up when we sat out by the edge of the pool most of the time.

Quite possibly the best part of this hotel though is its staff. Natasha the boss, was always smiling and willing to chat. Christina very happy and helpful. Polina was the first to greet us at the hotel when we arrived, and became like an aunt, we could have sat and talked to her all night long! And finally, Theo and Michaela who made our holiday evenings, they were great fun and great company.

Downsides: Lack of storage. No mirror in room other than bathroom. Speed of food service at snack bar at lunch time could be slow. These are though just minor niggles and definitely not complaints.

We're already planning a return trip for next year!

Paul, Moira and Sam

Room Tip: If funds allow go for a room with a private pool - you'll not be disappointed - WOW!

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff which work very hard and are a credit to the hotel. We stayed in a superior room which was beautiful, very comfy beds, lots of space and kept very clean. No noise at night - a peaceful hotel.

Food was very good, and although I agree there could be more 'classic' Greek dishes on offer, I can understand why the hotel would play it safe as some people can be quite fussy. They definitely catered to everyone's tastes - sometimes the food was too salty but it's a minor point. Breakfast was good. Hotel was always clean and was very nicely decorated in a modern Greek style.

Drinks were very expensive - we spent over 50 euros on drinks in one week, including a few cocktails one night and cans of pop were 2 euros each! Lunch at the pool bar was reasonable and good quality, but we did have to wait for over a hour once for a sandwich when it was rather busy. This wasn't ideal - the two guys cooking worked really hard, just not sure if it could be made more efficient somehow.

If going again I would definitely hire a car - taxis to Lindos varied from 5-8 Euros (usually 8), which also made things more expensive. Wasn't really possible to walk to Lindos in the day as it was too hot - it was only bearable to walk it after 8pm really. This meant we only went to Lindos a few times during the week, but some days it was nice just to chill out by the hotel anyway.

Would stay again but would factor the cost of a hire car in - didn't truly realise how hard the walk to Lindos would be until we got there!

Room Tip: Go superior.

We returned yesterday after a wonderful holiday at the Lindos Sun hotel, We had a lovely room on two floors with beautiful sea views, and to our surprise a Jacuzzi on the upper terrace, looking out to sea! This hotel was spotless, with a daily maid service and fresh towels, the beds were large and comfortable with deep memory foam mattresses. The food was good and plentiful and included in the price, however drinks are not included and this must be factored into your holiday as along with drinks and snacks from the poolside bar this can add up, as we found out having 2 15yr old boys with us! The pool is gorgeous with lots of beds and umbrellas available. The biggest downside to this hotel is the distance from Lindos, it claims to be 10 minutes walk to the town, it is more like 25 minutes, and not really possible after 10am when it is a scorching 38 degrees! In my opinion you need to hire a car to get about and see Rhodes and its gorgeous beaches and also stock up on snacks and drinks at a supermarket as each room does have a small fridge to use. The hotel staff are warm and friendly and I would stop here again but would definitely hire a car. It was also a good 2 hour transfer from the airport which is not good after an early start.

Room Tip: If possible ask for a room with a Jacuzzi or your own small pool

The hotel is situated 15minutes walk from the top of Lindos town. St Paul's beach will take a little longer and Lindos Town beach about 20 minutes. The hotel itself is excellent, large clean pool, good pool bar, large outdoor evening bar and both inside and outside eating areas. The rooms are clean they have a good size shower that doesn't leak water all over the bathroom and all have air conditioning.
The food is excellent with a wide differing choice daily.
The staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful.
Overall a great place to stay.

We have just returned from the Lindos Sun having spent 11 nights in absolutely beautiful surroundings! The evening aroma of Jasmine was gorgeous and the Bougainvillea was the prettiest I have ever seen.
I travelled with my husband and our 13 year old daughter. We had a superior room with a private pool. The pool was around 25 feet long and 10 feet wide so was great to swim in. Our daughter never got out of it!
Hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite, and the food was great. The courtyard was an ideal setting to eat or just have a drink in the evening.
If I could add a couple of negatives they would be:
The room only had a small wardrobe and didn't have any drawers so I had to ask for baskets to pop in our underwear, swimwear and t-shirts etc. Also a mirror in the room as well as the bathroom would be a good idea.
The food was great, but the trays were not re-filled until they were empty which caused people to hang around waiting. Maybe this is the Greek way, I'm not sure, but it was rather frustrating.

All in all, we had a great time and would definitely return!

Room Tip: if you can afford it I would definitely recommend a room with a private pool. All sea facing and wit...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks arriving on the 9th July 2014, we had the most chill out holiday we have had for a long time, the rooms were clean and tidy with free a/con. We found all the staff were excellent, MR T the barman, Michael Bill and all the girls, they were so helpful and made you feel welcome and went out there way to help you if you had any problems. Food for almost all of the 14 days was good for a 3 star hotel, the pool is one of the best you will find more like a 5 star than 3 star. Both bars the main and pool bar are reasonably priced with most drinks cheaper than in the bars of Lindos Town.At no point was there any late night load party noise or problems which you sometimes find in bigger hotels. We had a totally relaxed 2 weeks made possible by Natasha's team and will go back, I picked this hotel after reading the good comments which are true, this is the first time I have ever given feed/back on anything, go and enjoy this nice not to big lovely hotel.
