“Perfect peaceful holiday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

This hotel is beautiful. Set on it's own secluded beach it eludes tranquility. Clean and uncluttered, it feels like a 5* hotel. It's staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you, especially Manilos.
The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day with fresh linen. The food is varied every night and caters for all types. It really is a lovely hotel. The only, very only slight downside is that it is a little isolated and a taxi journey to the nearest town of Lindos. However, taxi's are cheap and the drivers cheerful!
A perfect holiday in a beautiful hotel.

Stayed at this hotel as a couple mid September 2013. The hotel on the whole is very good the staff are friendly and helpful and the facilties and food are good. The location is what we expected and we enjoyed walking both around the bay and into Lindos. There was not a great deal of sunbeds around the pool but there are plenty on the beach. We did not use the spa but noted in the room booklet that there is a charge for the sauna and jacuzzi which in our experience are usually free. The cost of the room safe (20euro) was the most we have ever paid! The beds are exceptionally hard even by Greek standards! I would have rated the hotel excellent but we felt it was let down by it's housekeeping. We constantly had to ask for the tea/coffee to be replenished in our room. On one occassion the towels were replaced but the dirty ones left in the bathroom and the bathroom floor was not always cleaned. Additionally a dirty tray sat in the corner of the corridor for 4 days! However these things did not particularly spoil our stay and I would recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway.

We really enjoyed our week at the Lindos Bay but the major drawback that you should be aware of is that its miles from anywhere. There is a mini market a bar and a taxi stand nearby but Lindos itself is several kilometers away and you can't walk there, unless you have suicidal tendencies and want to walk on the main highway! There is one bus in the morning to Lindos and one to Rhodes Town direct from the hotel, if you can get on it (rugby players have the advantage here), and one bus returns in the afternoon. Otherwise its a long hot arduous climb up to the main highway to catch one of the through buses. So unless you have a hire car you are either going to find your movements very restricted or be paying out a small fortune in taxi fares.
Having said that the hotel itself is very nice. Spotlessly clean throughout, and the staff are great, always friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding - varied, well cooked and well presented. The rooms were larger than is usual in resort hotels and well appointed, (although why you only ever get BBC World news as the sole English language TV channel is one of life's great mysteries). There are little signs that a refurbishment is due (stained countertops in the bathroom, shower screens that leak, lumpy sofas etc) that prevent a 5 star rating but nothing that would spoil your holiday. Also be aware that the room safe which is shown as being free in the hotel service guide now costs 20 euros a week which I thought was a bit of a ripoff.
If you are a beach bunny the hotel fronts straight on to its own beach, but make sure you take a pair of beach sandals because its a shingle beach. The pool is pleasant but not very large and you can usually find a sunbed, and the young ladies who take the exercise classes are outstanding!
So all in all if you want a quiet beach holiday in Rhodes the Lindos Bay Hotel could be the place for you but do bear in mind the location issue.

Room Tip: As another reviewer pointed out don't pay the extra for a seaview unless you want to put up with...

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks in june and july 2012. We traveled as a couple (22 and 24 years old) and we had very nice holiday. The hotel was beautiful. Our room was quite big and very clean. We didn´t have a sea view, but this was good, because we didn´t have to listen to the evening entertainment in our room. The hotel is actually in the middle of nowhere, but that didn´t bother us, because we just wanted to relax near the pool. Once we went to Lindos, we took a bus there and taxi back to the hotel. It was very nice, but we liked staying near the hotel pool and relaxing more. The beach is pebble, but we didn´t mind because we rather enjoyed swimming in the pool.

We didn´t get bored here, because we enjoyed activities like aqua aerobic, table tennis, tennis, darts and we also done a quiz. Staff was great, everybody was very polite and nice. Once we were in the bar during the evening entertainment and we liked it a lot, dancers we great and some people (including me) also joined them to dance.

The food here was very great. We loved croissants with butter and marmelade, yoghourt and also the eggs, feta cheese, vegetables, fruits and pastries for breakfast. The dinner was also very nice, service was excellent and we enjoyed sitting in the outside area of the main restaurant. The choice was wide, we always find something to choose from and we liked the ice-cream with toppings and also all the salads and deserts. We don´t drink alcohol, so we can´t comment this, but we had non alcoholic cocktails and we didn´t think prices were high and we are from Slovakia where people don´t have salaries like in the UK :)

The only negative was, that people always put towels on sunbeds and it wasn´t possible to find free sunbeds after the 10:00 expecially on the second week, which was in july. But we can´t blame the hotel for that.

We had a great time in this hotel, it can be boring for some people after a week, because of it´s location, but we enjoyed ourselves :) We wanted to go back, but now we are planning our honeymoon and we want to try a 5 star hotel and room with a private pool and unfortunately this hotel doesn´t offer this. We definitely recommend this hotel to couples who want a relaxing holiday near the pool.

Room Tip: If you don´t want to listen to the evening entertainment choose a room with a garden view.

This is an excellent hotel. It was brilliant when I first stayed here about 18 years ago and it has been refurbished twice since then to a much higher standard. The facilities are first class as is the service from the hotel staff. I would certainly recommend a stay here

Room Tip: Our room was at the front of the hotel with an excellent view over looking the mountains but our ro...

We arrived to find our sea view room unavailable for our first night so were put in a weird little room at the back of the hotel and offered a free safe for the duration of our stay. We moved the following morning and to be fair the room was lovely. Spacious with a great view and beautifully clean. We were on the first floor ....sadly rather close to the dodgy evening entertainment so no choice about listening to it all. Beware the Greek night folks!
We chose this hotel for a number of reasons... We had understood it was in Lindos, it is not. It is in the middle of nowhere. We understood it had a good gym. It certainly doesn't...in fact one of the worst hotel gyms we have ever encountered. The beach is described as shingle....it is pebble ...take jelly or beach shoes with you!
The food was very disappointing. I lost weight on this holiday! A first!! Very salty and fatty. The wine was expensive and nowhere near as good as you get in the supermarkets here in the UK.
On the whole the staff were hard working and very pleasant apart from the strange woman in charge of the spa and pool towel replacement....take your life in your hands if you want a clean one!
I really don't know if the Greek economic situation had made this hotel have to cut every corner possible or if that is just what it's like. It has the potential to be a real little gem but fails at every turn. Such a shame. I must congratulate the 2 polish girls Aga and Ania who did aqua gym and other activities every day. Charming and friendly at all times.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are great but beware the evening entertainment noise

Me and my husband stayed here 11 sept 2013 for 2 weeks as we got married at St. Paul's bay in lindos! This hotel was fantastic. It was just outside of lindos only 5mins in a taxi but located on a lovely bay called vlicha! The staff were all very helpful and the cleanliness was of a very high standard! Food was one of the best I've had in a half board hotel! The only fault I would have would be about the drinks at the bar as they were very highly priced considering a 5 min walk down the road they were almost half that price. Also access to the hotel is via a very steep bank so you NEED a taxi to get anywhere. Overall a brilliant stay here at sentido and would definatley stay again.
