Without doubt, one of the best holidays ever! The hotel was everything the brochure said it would be, and more. The rooms were large and modern with the added bonus of fridge, air-con and safe free of charge. The food was also wonderful, with so much choice - you have to try it all right?
Set on it's own on the beautiful bay, this hotel is total relaxation. Mainly a hotel for those who want to get away from it all, with just two bars within walking distance. Not really a family hotel or suited to those looking for night life. The beach is shingle and quite difficult and hot to walk on, but a pair of surf shoes soon solved the problem, there is even a boat that will pick you up from the beach daily, and take you on a tour of the island.
Lindos town is just a bus ride away and is beautiful and historic, with lots of lovely alleys and walkways filled with shops. A trip to the acropolis is a must!
Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend the Lindos Bay Hotel and can't wait to go back again next year.

Clean, recently refurbished hotel, spacious rooms, extremely efficient air conditioning and showers, lots hot water, snug (narrow) baths. Choices in restaurant bit repetitive (over 2 weeks) but quality always good - for pudding stick to cheese, fruit, ice cream or their home made pastries. 2 outdoor pools (1 childs) refreshing in the heat, if you want a break from the bar music go to the indoor spa pool (free to residents) or relax in the small Japanese courtyard - we used the shower facilities here on our last day instead of a courtesy room. Shingle beach HOT underfoot, you can buy beach shoes in the hotel shop (open early am to late pm), sea deep quite close to shore, good showers and changing kiosks on beach. Ask to see the menu for lunch in the beach restaurant (at €15 the buffett is expensive) it's just as competitive as the nearest (and only) taverna up the road. Entertainment provided alternate evenings, singers, saxophonists, Greek dancers, Limited walking outside hotel; big Iberostar hotel at one end of bay (made Lindos Bay seem very sophisticated), very hilly but possible to walk into Lindos village; would recommend taxi at €10 each way, alternative steep walk up to main road for buses. Hire a car to find sandy beaches, to the south look out for Glystra (small gently shelving sandy cove) and at the southern tip go to Prasonisi to see the spectacle of surfers and kite surfers- fantastic! Up north Rhodes old town worth a visit to wander around the myriad of ancient alleyways, tourist shops and tavernas. Lindos village second main tourist attraction, smaller version of Rhodes and slightly more expensive, very busy when the cruise passengers arrive. Good views from Lindos Acropolis but exhausting walk up and not recommended in midday heat or if you suffer from vertigo! Have a good holiday! Oh, if you have a sea view room worth getting up early one morning to watch the sun rise.

First time in 30 years to Greece. oh boy its changed. totaly tourist run. a great shame.
Lindoy bay as was still signs saying old name. Ok Hotel. Very nice in very good condition staff were very nice and helpfull. Food from a hotel trying for 5 stars was closer to 2.5 star. after being given a free meal in the so called ala cart restaurant after not getting the paid for sea view on first night we were really looking forward . But Do not bother. if I had had to pay I would have refused! and it would have cost £80 as well.
lindos very over priced but a nice place to walk around. car hire at hotel £200 a week for a panda. got one for £160 in pefcos pm me for details as was a good rental firm.
driving interesting! but if you have a brave hart and can drive in france you can here.
pefcos much lower prices for food and drink. but you can get a good meal in both places. ie Lindos and Pefcos. Brits seem to be few and far between at this hotel. but that was not a problem at all. all in all a good hotel Very clean and great if you just want a beach holliday but not a lot more on Rhodes. we went hoping to get out and explore but "did" Rhodes in 3 days driving.

Stayed at this hotel for one week 15th June 2008. Brilliant hotel for relaxation. On arrival bottle of wine and fruit in rooms which was a nice touch. Pool area brilliant, not too crowded and very good atmospherehe. Also excellent pool and snack bar. So close to the beach, scenery idyllic. Very hot when we were there temperatures often reaching 43c. Entertainment in hotel every evening of a good quality and presented outside beside the pool, which was lovely. To go into Lindos required a taxi as buses few and far between, lots of good wuality shops and bars there. Food in the hotel was very varied and of excellent quality, dinner could be swapped for lunch with voucher from reception. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Very good value for money. Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the sun. Superb food, clean rooms, shop on the premises, few swiming pools. It was a very good experience for us.
