We stayed at the Lambis Studios in June, this year for the Rhodes Rock festival. We were told that studios would be very noisy by the pool but that wasn't the fact. We had five or six bands staying and the bar was open until very late but once the door was shut you heard nothing.

Vangellis and Christina make this place, there is nothing they wouldn't do to help us all. The only problem was, the maid would knock on the door then walk in, a few people got caught out!!

It's a shame Rhodes Rock is not there next year because we would have loved to go back but we will try and get back on our own next year.

We stayed for 2wks in July. This is our 5th time staying at the Lambis Studios & it was just as good as previous years. This time we came with friends who loved it too.
Christiana & Vangellis are always so friendly & welcoming to us.
We had a room overlooking the pool which was lovely & clean. I love how the gardens are so beautifully kept too. The bar food and drinks were very reasonably priced too. The pool area was very clean & tidy.
We enjoyed the stroll into the village each evening taking the hill down or sometimes the shortcut, either way was fine for us but may not be for everyone. We ate at a few different restaurants Dionysis, Stefanys & Acopolis being the favourites. Also Skala on the small beach is great. The prices haven't changed much from previous years & the food is always very good and quite large portions. The service was very good where ever we went. We like Giorgios Bar & Rainbird Bar for a drink before dinner & Lindos by Night for a drink later as they have music too.
We have been to other greek islands but Rhodes & Lindos will always be our favourite. Already looking forward to our next visit in September.

We have stayed at the Lambis three years running now as it offers superb sized rooms and a good location, just behind Lindos and the hubbub of bussed in tourists. It is a short walk to the picturesque village (quicker via donkey track before Lindos View) and 10-15 minutes to the beautiful St Paul's beach....a bit longer on way back as it is up hill.

The complex is good and part of the attraction for us is the small size....that there was not the bun fight for sun loungers. Unfortunately, this year, probably due to a slight change in the clientele, there was the beginnings of towels on sun beds before 8am, which is a shame that we, as a nation, have resorted to this. In our previous two visits this was not the case, as the majority of people staying there were couples. We think the difference this year was because there were several large families with older children, all needing a sun lounger, which perhaps pushed them to creep out at the crack of dawn to reserve them. That or they were just selfish. Part of the reason we always went to the Lambis was that we didn't have to resort to this...whereas at the Lindos View you did. We found ourselves considering doing it ourselves on the last day as we had to stay at poolside until 8pm to be ready for our flight. We didn't like what it was making us become.

Having said that, the complex is still marvellous value and a great holiday location. The rooms are huge and clean. The bar offers a wider range of food and the complex is well positioned. The owners also own the Acroplolis restaurant in town, which offers superb food, overlooking the village and the Acropolis itself. Don't limit yourself to this one only though, as there are many many tavernas that offer equally beautiful views and amazing food...best Kleftico is to be found in Hermes.

All in all, despite the disappointment in our fellow countrymen, behaving like some of our European neighbours - you know who I mean, we would certainly recommend the Lambis and would definitely go back again.

Stayed at Lambis Studios in July 2013 with husband for two weeks. Apartment was very good overall basic but clean. Air conditioning was 50 euros per week or 10 euros per day. Gardens are beautiful and well kept with a waterfall leading to a little pond area. Pool is very good and plenty of sunbeds. Pool bar is very reasonably priced for drinks and food and food was decent. Our apartment was behind the ones by the pool so a bit of a hike up the path but not too bad, I suppose the heat made if feel worse than it was. Spent quite a bit of my time feeding the local stray cats, very thin poor things, I think there were about 7 in all. Lambis had a Greek night on Sundays and a Pool Party night on Thursdays. Wasn't keen on the latter as they played thumping club music which isn't our cup of tea. Also some of the other hotels across the other side of Krana obviously had karaoke nights which were very loud and we could hear this coming across when sitting outside. Saying this, there was nothing to be heard from inside the room once balcony doors were shut. I assume if staying in an apartment next to the pool noise would probably be heard.

Lindos was busy. It is very pretty but a little to commercialised. St Paul's Bay is very pretty so worth a visit as is the Acropolis. I liked the Rainbird Bar which has lovely views over the main beach. It is a little out of the way so was never packed with people so we found it very relaxing for a drink and/or a snack. Had two lovely meals at Mythos Restaurant. The kleftico was the best we have ever had and also the stifado was lovely.

Rhodes old town is well worth a visit and also the Palace of the Grand Masters. We also enjoyed a boat trip to Symi which is gorgeous and another to Halki island which is also gorgeous and looks like a smaller version of Symi.

Off to our favourite Greek island of Santorini soon and although Rhodes and Lindos are lovely, I still feel that Santorini can't be surpassed.

We just loved Lindos! The town is beautiful with its narrow streets lined with bars (Pal’s bar is a must), roof top tavernas, restaurants (Broccolino is amazing!!), shops...and donkeys  Such a romantic place (which is probably what my now husband thought as we got engaged in Lindos)!

Good beaches – you have the main beach and then the little beach at St. Paul’s Bay. We would definitely recommend the treck up on to the Acropolis. There are also good boat trips leaving from the jetty (just walk down there and you will see posters with timetables etc.).

Lambis Apartments were very nice – good size room with a terrace/balcony, really well kept gardens & pool (with plenty of sun loungers). The bathroom probably could have done with being updated but it was clean and it was what you would expect from accommodation like that. The food at the bar was also good (although we only had lunches there and always walked to town for dinner).

Yes it is a bit of a walk from the apartments to town/beach (10 mins to town; 15-20 mins to the beach) but during the day there is a free bus that runs up/down the hill and you can always take a taxi in the evening if you think you might struggle to walk up the hill (we never did as we didn’t think it was that bad). Supermarket is about 5-10 min walk.

If you are deciding whether to go to Lambis Apartments & Lindos – just go, you will love it!
