I have just returned from a 1 week stay in Lindos View and have never been so upset to be home! The hotel is amazing, rooms are gorgeous and very modern, the showers are powerful and the air conditioning is freezing (55euros a week) which was a welcome break after a day in the sunshine! The staff in the hotel were lovely and genuinely couldnt do enough to help you.
We ate at the pool bar most days for breakfast or lunch but went into lindos town in the evening as the roof top restaurants are not too be missed. They are beautiful and reasonably priced (around the same price as a nice meal in the UK) a bottle of wine with dinner is usually about 15euro.(id avoid stefanos as the food wasnt fab but definately try stefanies it was lovely) However i would recommend the restaurant in the hotel, it was so stylish and the service and food was second to none. The views from the balcony are amazing too.
I travelled with two friends and we are all aged 25 so wanted a little bit of night life but nothing too crazy. We found a small little bar called Pals where two british guys work and it was always a good laugh in there, id also recomend antika! If you want something a bit later try club globe or arches where you can dance away all night! (id recomend this as the views of the bay at 6am are spectacular)
I will definately be returning to Lindos and staying at the Lindos View again next year!

Room Tip: If your not happy ask to move rooms

We had booked up for Rhodes Rock and were offered several hotels. After reading the trip advisor reviews (as we usually do) we agreed this holiday. And we were not disappointed. The best thing about the apartments is the location. Most of the hotels and apartments are outside Lindos Village (and uphill), this is the nearest to the village which is great when you are walking in 30 degrees heat !.

It takes about 5 - 10 mins to walk down into the village and if you want to get a taxi back it is 4 euros. The staff are really welcoming and it is very clean. Other than a Sunday the cleaners are in every day to make your bed. Our room had a separate sitting area which was great and opening the balcony doors we had the view of the acropolis which was stunning. The rooftop restaurant was also really good and the costs were reasonable for hotel prices (ave 10 to 15 euros for a main meal). Also you have the view of the acropolis in the evening which is all lit up.

We would definitely recommend this hotel.

For restaurants we really enjoyed Stefanos in the village and also the italian restaurant across from Melias cafe (can't remember the name). Both again were very reasonable for their food.

Just a wee tip - Use Sunscreen !! I got burnt on the first day (thought I had put enough on but had missed some parts at the back of the shoulders) and although it didnt spoil my holiday it was really painful.

Room Tip: Ask for a refurb room.

our apartment didn't look anything like the ones in advert never the less clean and comfortable one complaint the charge for air conditioning 50 euros a week bit high, the deal for halfboard is a good one would recommend it, for myself it was to far out, anybody who just wants to hang about lazing in the sun by the pool it's for them. Me & my partner stayed here for a week in May and could not fault it.

THE ROOM
The rooms are spotlessly clean and had everything we needed (even a bath at the end of the bed!) They were very modern and definitely a high standard for Greece. The kitchen was basic but it's all we needed; provided were plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, all cutlery, frying pan, saucepan, a kettle, toaster and a hot plate. Our balcony faced the Acropolis which was lovely to wake up to on a morning. The room also had a large living area separated from the bedroom by glass partitions.

THE HOTEL & STAFF
Again the hotel and public areas were very clean. Even the toilets and showers by the games rooms were spotless. We only ate once at the pool bar but the food was very good and prices were very reasonable. There is also a restaurant upstairs of which we heard good reviews for. The staff were very helpful and both the Greek and English ladies working on reception were always available it you needed anything. We also met Yannis the owner who was very friendly.

HINTS & TIPS
The supermarket at the top on the hill is very expensive. You can catch a bus to a much cheaper supermarket just out of Lindos. It's just passed the Lindos Blu Hotel. Everything you need; even a deli to get some fresh olives and tzatziki!

We rented a car for 3 days. We were advised by an English worker that the cheapest place to go was Pefkos (The next village to Lindos, about 5mins on the bus). We hired the car from Lindos Rent-a-car and it cost us 60euros for a KIA Picannto inc all insurance. The owner was very friendly and advised he's the cheapest in the area because he does not have to pay commission. They dropped the car off at the hotel and also picked it up from us.

6euros into the Acropolis
5euros on the bus to Rhodes town

I will be recommending this hotel to friends and family as I know this is the perfect location for Lindos and one of the best hotels I've stayed in in Greece.

Just spent a week at the Lindos View and it's difficult to find a negative. The staff are all excellent, attentive and friendly. It's clean, stylish in a way not often seen in Greek accommodation and the location is perfect as long as you enjoy a 10 min stroll to the main attraction, the lovely village of Lindos and it's roof top tavernas and beaches. It is downhill one way and uphill the other, but you can always have a rest here and there, so don't let it put you off.

The 2 pools at the apartments are super, with plenty of comfy beds and the pool side food is the best we've had anywhere.

We had one of the rooms shown on the website and it was brilliant. Bright and modern with an overhead shower!!!!, comfy beds and a nice outdoor area. Not many apartments have good views but you've got those everywhere you go so it's no great loss.

We ate out every meal and to be honest never had a bad one. If you want a nice spot for lunch go down to the main beach and go to the beach side taverna at the furthest point away from the town, beneath the cliffs. Lovely little place with great views and food.

The only negative has nothing to do with the hotel.

We went Thomas Cook, who we have always found to be excellent. Unfortunately, they seem to be in the shadows of Thompson and Airtours at these apartments with no info board and their service at the resort was poor to say the least. Go with someone else!

Room Tip: We emailed the manager and asked for a nice room!
