Stayed here for a week, commencing 12th October and had an absolutely wonderful time. The hotel is gorgeous, lovely and clean, spacious rooms, and in a fantastic location. The staff are wonderful, extremely friendly and very hard working. Would recommend the hotel in an instant.

Hope to return sometime next year.

lindos view hotel was an ideal relaxing holiday , was very clean staff real friendly , rooms basic but clean but dont understand why they gave us a couple single beds??, pools good but cold, breakfast, lunch & dinner in upstairs restaurant good & plentifull but quite expensive but think thats due to the euro also all drinks are expensive , self catering was also expensive as only 2 supermarkets close by unless you wanted to carry shopping up an steep hill .
beaches quite close & clean overall had great time & would definatly go again thanks lindos view

We stayed at the Lindos View for 10 days at the beginning of September and I can honestly say that they are some of the best apartments we have stayed in during our many holidays to Greece. Admittedly, we had one of the lovely refurbished rooms which overlooked the pool (something I emailed Yannis to request before we travelled) but we made friends with a couple in one of the older apartments and though more dated, they were extremely clean and fresh. The refurbished rooms were of a very high standard with separate wc and a lovely bath with large shower above and also a shower curtain...something of a luxury in Greece! The 2 good sized pools are sectioned off and cleaned daily and the grounds well tended, as are the public areas.
The staff are exceptional and made our stay even more enjoyable; there is a real family feel to the hotel and I can understand why people return year after year here.
The views of the acropolis are breathtaking and the pleasant (though rather steep) walk into the village at night unfolds into an array of lovely restaurants and shops open into the early hours. There are two routes into the village of equal distance, one at the corner of the car park towards St Paul's bay and one opposite the ice bar. There is a complimentary shuttle bus down to the village during the day which stops at the square, so for those with walking difficulties, it is worth considering that there a further steep hill to negotiate if you are heading for the beach.
All 3 of the beaches have lovely shallow waters and soft sand; our personal favourite was St Paul's bay where you can also watch weddings throughout the day; slightly surreal whilst laying on a sun bed. A trip to the acropolis on a donkey is also a must though I do feel for the poor donkeys in the searing heat!
Our favourite restaurants were Byzantine, Dionysos and The Acropolis although we can honestly say that we did not have a bad meal, we even had a Mexican and Indian which were of a very good standard. The roof top restaurants are lovely and enjoy views across the top of the village to the acropolis which is lit up at night.
We hired a car for 2 days and travelled from one end of the island to the other which I would recommend although, for those who prefer to stay closer to their resort, there is an excellent bus service which picks up close to the hotel and runs the length of the island.
Lindos has something for everyone and I think that the Lindos View is situated perfectly to enjoy all that it has to offer.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and want to say a big "Thank You" for everyone who looked after us during our stay....we look forward to returning sometime soon!

Just returned from 2 weeks in Lindos, staying at the Lindos View. This was our 9th holiday in Greece and we were impressed by the Studios. They were very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Thanks to the manager, Mr Profilienos, who was very helpful prior to our arrival.

Maria's Restaurant in the Village was as close as we got to good Greek food. I would recommend it. Very friendly and helpful staff too. It can get very full but worth the effort if you have to wait, and its open all year.

We chose this hotel having read previous reviews on TripAdvisor.

I knew to email the hotel beforehand and request a refurbished room on a higher floor with acropolis and sea view. The hotel rang me a week before to say we could have either the high floor with view or a refurbished room - not both, as the newer rooms are on the ground floor. I opted for the view.

On arrival when we were shown our room I was delighted! The room was huge and not dated at all! Plus, we had that great view! Plenty of storage space with DRAWERS - so often lacking in hotel rooms. I did have to ask for extra coathangers and they were delivered almost immediately. Some clip-style trouser hangers would have been useful as well.

We planned to eat breakfast and lunch on our balcony most days and that is exactly what we did, buying our bread, milk etc. from the more-than-adequately stocked Flora Supermarket about 200m to the left of the hotel. We found that the fresh Greek bread did not stay soft for long and bought rye bread instead which kept better.

I took a few things on holiday with me which I thought would come in handy and they did! Ice cube bags for making extra ice, corkscrew and plastic wine glasses, teatowel & cloth, a plastic orange squeezer and a small sharp knife. All these items proved very useful. I also took 2 sets of solar fairylights to strew around our balcony. So pretty! Never travel without them.

We ate in the hotel restaurant 3 times. Some of the best food we had in Lindos with definitely the greatest view of the acropolis lit up at night! Recommend the feta with honey in pastry. Squid was good too.

The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and very clean. Arriving in reception the first thing we noticed is the amazing tiled floor. The area surrounding the pool is also cleverly done with smooth pebbles so is not only very attractive but is also not slippery. The toilets downstairs are tiled beautifully as well - worthy of a photo!

Plenty of sunloungers for everyone. I went out every morning for a pre-breakfast 40 length swim at 8.20 a.m. and was usually the first to put down a towel! Lovely family feel about the place with inflatables being left out and shared as you would at home.

We were blessed with unseasonably hot weather of about 29 degrees during the day and staying about 25 at night. We did not pay for air conditioning but instead slept with the windows open, safe in the knowledge that there were NO mozzies!

We did one trip with Thomsons - the Rhodes Town by Knight trip. Excellent value and great fun. Our Rhodean Greek guide Paul is Oxford educated and he knew his stuff on the history of Rhodes! After a dander around the old and new towns we had a super meal at the Rustica restaurant before taking a short cruise around Rhodes town harbour. Plenty of time too to mooch around the shops.

We hired a car at 90 euros for 3 days. I recommend visiting Prassonissi at the very southern tip of the island. I stood in the sea with one foot in the Aegean and one foot in the Med! We drove around the western coast stopping in Siana for lunch. Siana is famous for its Thyme honey and its olive oil. We bought some of both. We also visited Butterfly Valley in the north. Sadly, no butterflies as it was the wrong time of year but beautiful walks with stunning scenery. Also stopped off at Seven Springs where the water bubbles up from underground. We loved the island and covered much of it in our 3 days with the car.

People have mentioned 'heart attack hill' as the road into Lindos Village. Believe me it is no such thing! A short walk with a gentle gradient. No trouble at all if you have a reasonable level of fitness. We walked into town most evenings and our favourite restaurants were MedEast which is practically the first one you come to on the left. The only restaurant in Lindos with enough fairylights! They have a Thai chef in residence so you can either eat Greek or Thai. We did one evening of each! We also enjoyed eating at Mythos - great food, terrific rooftop views and a very generous host!

Another highlight was our walk around the Acropolis. We are not really into ancient buildings but the views are spectacular, especially at dusk which is when we went. The evening sunlight on the yellow stone is gorgeous.

On the rare occasions when we were able to drag ourselves away from the hotel pool area, we visited both the Main Beach and St. Paul's Bay (both easily reached on foot) for an afternoon's sunbathing on the soft sand and swimming in the crystal clear warm waters.

I recommend this hotel. It is highly organised and operated with much care. Well done Yannis.

Stayed at the Lindos View apartments for a friends wedding in mid September this year. My boyfriend and I were allocated one of the older style rooms, which overlooked the pool area and the acropolis. Even though I was a bit annoyed about this at first, as the rest of our party had the newer rooms with multicoloured lights in their shower, I was soon pleased because they couldn't control their aircon individually (which costs extra on arrival by the way), whereas we could! The room itself was very clean, a little on the bare side, but suited us just fine. I can't fault the food at the hotel, absolutely yummy!! We were on half board so we got breakfast and dinner and it was definitely worth it (you can upgrade to B&B or half board on arrival if you've prebooked on self-catering). The view from the restaurant upstairs is great - overlooking the acropolis. The staff at the hotel were great too - one evening we went upstairs for dinner and there were no tables outside, so the waiter said he would come down to the bar and find us when our table was ready. Great service! I also noticed the manager around the hotel alot, always inspecting everything was OK, which was comforting (as some hotel managers are never around!!) The two pool areas were kept clean and clutter-free all the time. Evening entertainment at the hotel was good and it varied from one night to the next - the BBQ evening was very good and the karoke was alot of fun. The hotel is in a great location, with the supermarket less than a 5 minute walk away. The town of Lindos is simply idyllic, and just a short walk away from the hotel going down a rather steep hill! But there is a free shuttle bus service!! Would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Room Tip: You could ring the hotel in advance and ask for one of the newer rooms. You may also want to prebook...

First class service from all the staff. Hotel is very clean. The food is excellent. Rooms are very good. I would go back to this hotel if i return to Lindos. Good supermarket just down the road. Local bus to Rhodes only 5 euros, bus has aircon and the drivers are really helpful.
