Excellent location, I believe its the closest hotel with a pool to Lindos village. Its a 10 minute walk from the centre. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Two pools with ample sunbeds. The hotel restaurant is lovely, beautifully decorated, food tasty and reasonably priced with views of the sea. village and the Acropolis. We asked for a room on a high floor and it was huge. It was an un-refurbished room but it was clean, huge beds, good bathroom and large balcony with a wonderful view. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom but took my own as from previous experience they are never fast enough. We had lunch around the pool several times and the choice was great, we usually shared as the portions were more than generous. A short walk to the left and there a couple of supermarkets that sell everything you could want. Coaches stop here for trips to other parts of the island and theres a kiosk that takes payment and has a list of all the destinations. There is a shuttle bus that runs up and down to the village square for 50 cents each, however it broke down during our second week so not sure if its been fixed yet! If you fancy a change of scenery, just past the first supermarket there is the Waterfront pool. It a pool and pool bar run by English people with extremely comfortable sunbeds. Anyone can use the pool, you just buy your drinks and food from the bar. It was lovely and peaceful and a break from the sometimes noisy hotel pool.
All in all, the Lindos Views was a lovely hotel. The main downside for us was the inconsiderate, noisy neighbours who regularly kept us awake. I have no idea what they were doing but is sounded like they moved all their furniture around at all times of day and night. We couldn't be sure which side it was but the people below must have been driven mad. We didn't really use the bar area much as it had no atmosphere. It looked a bit like someone had gone mad in Ikea and most of the furniture was plastic chairs mixed in with some lovely sofas. It could do with some 'Greekness'; pictures on the walls and some designation between the reception area and the bar. In summary, we had a brilliant holiday but not sure if we would return here, it is more for families than couples.
