Just back from a week at this small, friendly hotel. Location couldn't be better, right beside the ferry.
Well worth booking a lake view room with balcony ensuring a table on the terrace for dinner.
Rooms were basic with small shower room. Air con coped well with temperatures up to 35C.
Main areas and room were very clean. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.
Stayed half board - food is good, bearing in mind Thomson class the hotel as 3 star. Gala menu was excellent. Public restuarant serves delicious food - highly recommend the pizzas.
Hotel has small pool but we didn't use it as we were out and about every day on ferries.
Excellent value for money would definitely consider returning
Overall an excellent holiday in a lovely location.

This hotel is ideally situated next to the ferry, wonderful views of the lake. It is worth paying for a lakesdie room with balcony. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the food is excellent. Alberto is great and Christian the waiter made our stay.

The swimming pool area is quite small but ok for a quick dip after a long day out.

Would definitely stay here again

Room Tip: Lakeview with a balcony

My two sisters and I together with one husband (poor long suffering brother in law visited this hotel at the end of May for the sixth time now. We love the position and always book a lake view with balcony as we love to be woken in the morning to the sound of the local church bells. We received a warm welcome from Alberto, the Manager, who gave us a special table and wine and beer as we were a little late for dinner on our arrival. He promised us a nice table on the terrace for the rest of our stay, which promise he fulfilled.

Our room was nice, and we even had a bath as well as a shower, which is a definite plus. The maid changed our bed linen and towels very frequently so we had no complaints

The food at the hotel is ok, albeit rather oily at times, but then we are in Italy. The free wine stopped abruptly on the 1st of June which we found a little strange as we had been given free wine and beer from 25th May, I think it starts again in September. The breakfasts were ok(ish) if you like cold meats, sausage and cheese, there was scrambled egg but it was always cold.

We do by now know our way around Lake Garda and therefore did not bother with any organised trips as it is so easy to get around yourself. One day we got a bus to visit Torre Del Benaco, which is a lovely little place and I would recommend a visit there we also like Lazise which is quite easy to get to by bus, and cheap, but is not on the ferry route from Limone.

Once or twice we did have our lunch in the Pizzeria attached to the hotel and I would recommend this , it is the best pizzas we have ever tasted and you are given a 10% discount if you are a resident in the hotel.

One tip I would pass on is to book a private transfer from Verona as we found sitting on a bus for a couple of hours or so very tedious when you get off the plane, it was very reasonable especially if you are a party of four . Needless to say, we will be back !

Room Tip: Rooms with a balcony and lake view (102 is good, spacious and has a bath)

We stayed at the hotel for two weeks from 15th to 29th May. The weather was disappointing
for the time of year, very changeable, however we also had some lovely days. The main attraction of the All'Azzuro is its beautiful and convenient location, right on the lake and only a few steps to the ferry point and numerous shops and restuarants. A balcony is a must to enjoy it
to the full and also a table on the terrace, weather permitting! This hotel is excellent value for money, the staff are very helpful and although the food is not "cordon bleu" it is more than acceptable.

Room Tip: Do have a balcony room it is well worth the extra cost.

We visited the All'Azzurro for the 6th time from 15th-25th May this year. We were welcomed by the manager Allberto yet again. He could have not been more accommodating and pleased to see us. We managed to get our favourite room with a balcony. The hotel is at the ferry point which made it very convenient for transport. The food in the hotel has improved over the years and although not cordon bleu is certainly adequate for the money. We were fortunate not to have to share a table as some of the other guests had to. (we think that when you book a holiday for two, you shouldn't have to share a table in the dining room every night. It seems to happen in other Italian hotels!). The weather ov er the 10 days was very disappointing this year with only 3 or 4 good days though - this was nothing to do with the hotel!. We would certainly recommend this hotel for its position on the lake and friendly service. We will certainly be returning yet again.

Room Tip: Make sure you pay extra for the lakeview rooms which also have a balcony.

This small hotel right on the shore of Lake Garda is perfect for a restful holiday. The staff are very helpful and the meals are varied and tasty. If there is nothing on the menu to suit, the chef will prepare something else for you.
The hotels location right next to the ferry port makes it easy to hop on and off the boats which ply up and down this beautiful Lake and its surroundings.

Room Tip: A lake side room is a good option

Stayed at this hotel for a week in September 2012. Arrived at Limone very tired after 4 hour coach transfer from Venice Marco Polo airport by coach driver who spoke no English. We were supposed to be collected by golf buggy from dark deserted car park for transfer to hotel, there is no vehicular access to the hotel for guests. Guess what? - No golf buggy! So, we had to walk to the hotel with suitcases, this would be impossible for anyone with mobility problems. Thankfully the streets were well lit. Manager was very apologetic and had saved us a meal, which was very welcome. We had paid extra for a room with a balcony only to be told that none of these were available and we should sort this with our rep. Needless to say we never got a room with a balcony (the tour company did reimburse us on our return, but only after a lot of hassle). Please be aware that if you travel individually or as a couple you will be expected to share a dining room table with strangers. Also, you will be expected to order the food for your evening meal a day in advance from a limited menu. Having said that, the food was basic but perfectly adequate. Although we didn't get a room with a balcony, the room was very comfortable. Another couple who arrived at the same time were not so fortunate and ended up with a very dark dingy room at the back of the hotel which looked onto a rock face with an air conditioning unit right next to the window which buzzed loudly all night. Our room did overlook the lake and the view was fantastic. Limone is a magical resort with lots of atmosphere. The water buses on the lake provide a fantastic service, they operate from right outside the hotel foyer, charges are very reasonable.
If you plan to visit this hotel I would recommend you book a room at the lake side of the hotel and check your booking in advance. The reception staff speak perfect English. The waitress in the dining room is brilliant, works extremely hard and is extremely helpful. The location of the hotel is superb for a relaxing holiday. There is a very small pool with about ten sun loungers around it. The main restaurant serves very good pizza cooked by a very friendly and enthusiastic chef, you must pay extra to dine there, but highly recommended and no table sharing! We may stay at this hotel again in the future but on a bed and breakfast basis (plenty of restaurants and bars in Limone) but will check reservation before travelling.
