Faultless. The staff were second to none, the views awe inspiring and the food, incredible.
The room was more than adequate and we were indulged with the largest balcony in the hotel. I would most certainly return.

Just returned from Hotel Panorama, Limone, Lake Garda. The hotel was really good. The room was spacious and kept very clean by the maid, who cleaned the bathroom, made the beds and changed the towels every day. A nice touch. You were also loaned some swimming towels which saved me taking my own so that was good too. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and very good at their jobs. The bar staff remembered the drinks you ordered, the restaurant staff remembered where you preferred to sit and the reception desk recognised you and gave you the correct room key most of the time! As well as the staff being wonderful our Cosmos rep Charlotte was too - so helpful and friendly and put herself out to find out what we wanted to know. The resort itself was beautiful - having never been to a lake before I wasn't disappointed. The lake was clear and you could take a dip from the hotel. The air was clear too and with the lake being surrounded by mountains who couldn't appreciate the view? Limone was a pretty village and it was easy to travel by local bus to Riva or by ferry to Malcesine. All are worth a visit. If you haven't been I would recommend you go - you wont be disappointed. The hotel also provided a table tennis table, crazy golf, an outside chess/draughts set and an indoor and outdoor pool.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the actual hotel as I they did not honour my booking. I had travelled down from Germany (6 hour drive) and received an email that morning that they had no availability and offered me a 'comparable' alternative... Their sister hotel across the lake. The alternative was certainly not comparable!!! If I was being synical I would suggest this is a way to get bookings and fill a not so popular hotel. Needless to say our relaxing three night lake view room break turned into a nightmare - a resort hotel full of kids - haven't got a problem if this is what you want!! All I can say is make sure you confirm your room reservation in advance! Would never go back and would never use booking.com again.

We have just returned from another super holiday at the Hotel Panorama. This Hotel has a fabulous setting, the staff are friendly, helpful, efficient and very professional.

Rooms are a little old fashioned but very comfortable and extremely clean.

You can either swim in the lake or in the lovely swimming pool.

The hotel is an aproximate 30 minute walk from Limone but my husband and I enjoyed this walk, there are some lovely views of Limone on the way. There is a free shuttle bus at various times during the day and evening.(Feel this could be more often)

Food is very good and varied.

Have visited this hotel five times and I am sure we will return in the future.

Room Tip: All rooms have lake views. We have always stayed on the second floor.

Just returned from two glorious weeks at the Hotel Panorama, and with one or two changes we'd probably even consider going back! In agreement with points mentioned in so many of the reviews already on Tripadvisor, so won't repeat those. We actually wondered if the 'left hand side' of the hotel had updated or upgraded rooms for Dutch & German guests, as I overheard someone saying they thought that was the case. On our floor - 2, it's still carpet up the corridor walls, in gold and royal blue etc - very dated. Brilliant staff and breakfast. Evening meals -'so-so'. Good to eat out on dining room terrace, but could only get a table out there if we ate at around 7.45 pm, which was fine for us. The walk to Limone we were disappointed in - much of it is between high walls of private properties on the lake side - so don't think of it as 'an open vista', like a promenade or anything! Lawned terraces down near the lake were our favourite place for a day's swimming, relaxation & book reading - all the steps are arduous - but good for you! Much quieter than the pool & lovely trees for shade.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. We have been to Limone before so we knew the location of the hotel and chose it because of it's proximity to the lake.
The top floor of the hotel is taken up by Reception, the bars and dining room all of which have fabulous views of the lake and mountains and into Limone, there is even another terrace right on top of the hotel where you can have a drink and watch the sunset.
Contrary to some of the earlier reviews our room was perfectly adequate, yes it was simply furnished but there was everything you needed. I admit the shower was a bit tight and I did keep knocking my elbows on the shower doors but it was fine.
We had a balcony with two chairs and a table and great views.
The pool area was well set out with good sunbeds and mattresses although some days getting a sunbed was an issue for some people but there were sunbeds on three terraces on the way down to the lake. There are two ways to get down to the lake either the 100 or so steps or once you have gone down the spiral staircase there is a gently sloping pathway. We swam in the lake everyday and it was lovely.
If there was a small downside to the hotel it was that the food was not as good as we hoped it would be, the vegetables were often a bit overdone but there was always something you could eat.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed our week here and will definitely go again.

Room Tip: We like a double bed but unfortunately had twin beds but the receptionist told us if we stayed again...

Just back from a wonderful stay at the Panorama Hotel just outside Limone. The hotel's in a fantastic location, right on the lake front and the views are stunning. We booked with Thomas Cook/Crystal and had two rooms (travelling as a family) which were right next to each other on the third floor. The hotel staff are the friendliest ever, from the receptionists through to the bar and restaurant staff - always ready to chat, and Bianca in the restaurant even gave advice on some of the meals. The hotel pool (outdoor) was great, water cold initially but very welcome when you've been sunbathing in 30 degree heat (and you get warmer the more you swim in the pool, which is the point after all!!)
The rooms were great - very spacious, including the bathroom - spotlessly clean and the air conditioning very welcome in the evenings and at night. Agree that the walls are a tad thin, but after the first night, and following busy/tiring days sightseeing, etc, you gradually don't notice sounds from other rooms. Our rooms looked out onto the lake, offering terrific views, and we were able to sit out in the evening, with the room providing ample light through the balcony doors. Food in the restaurant was great - plenty of salad choices, then hot food choices (carvery was delicious!) Also a great selection of desserts, and fresh fruit always available to pick from. And who could fault wine and beer on tap, both of which tasted excellent! Breakfast buffet was also fab - plenty of choice, and eggs done in different ways - loved the boiled eggs, although the cook/chef was always on hand to cook your eggs how you wanted them. The walk from the hotel into Limone does stretch you - we normally took about 30 minutes to walk in, although again, it's a fantastic walk along the side of the lake with plenty of views (and various wildlife crossing your path!) And if you want a little bit of exercise while on holiday, the walk is perfect.
Also have to mention the Crystal reps working in Limone - a fantastic crew, always ready with advice (anything from trips to the hotels). Organisation was the best we've seen - from arrival at Verona airport, through the transfer to Limone (which we knew was going to take a couple of hours, so were prepared for) to the organisation of trips (we did the Lake Garda boat tour, and a day trip to Venice, both of which were fantastic days). For both of these, the hotel organised breakfast bags for you, so you were always assured something to eat for the journey - again a nice touch from the hotel.
Overall, this was a brilliant holiday, made special by the hotel, and we wouldn't hesitate in going back to the Panorama.
