As many comments say, this restaurant can offer excellent dishes and the Chef has definitely a "good" hand.
The location is nice and the restaurant is also quite pretty.
Having said that, the big minus is always the same in many places in Liguria: where is the KINDNESS?
The owner is not exactly friendly, she shows the kind of cold kindness you have sometime in Michelin-starred restaurants...but you wouldn't look for in a place that finally is a good Trattoria.
Moreover, the lady (not her daughter) the early-60s owner, doesn't speak any English....and is really rude when it happens that someone doesn't speak Italian.
We are Italians and while we were there a couple of old Brits booked; the wife stepped in and said just "my husband is parking". The lady started raising her voice saying "I don't speak English, please don't speak to me in English, ok?"...clearly speaking Italian.
We helped the Brits and then the owner said "I don't understand it, I tell them, DON'T SAY ANYTHING COMPLICATED!!!!"....apparently only her daughter can manage it.
Having said that, good restaurant but customer service and warm welcome are definitely something else. Basically, the overall comment is Welcome to Liguria
