It wasn't our first time traveling to Malta so my husband and I wanted to book an apartment outside of the hectic cities like Sliema and opted to discover the southern area of the island. We rented this beautiful apartment in Marsascala in a peaceful street close to all that we desired. Everything, from restaurants to grocery shops were just a few minutes walk away.
Christina is such a great host. Prior to our arrival we had been contacting her on transport services and she arranged for airport transfers at really great prices. She took the matters into her own hands so we didn't have to go through the hassle of contacting companies in Malta ourselves. On top of this, we arrived late at night and Christina was there to welcome us with a complimentary food pack filled with the essentials we needed for the night and the next morning. She was also kind enough to hand us a user-friendly instruction manual of things like the washing machine that I probably wouldn't have known how to use. It is unlikey we will get service like that again.
This gorgeous apartment was spacious, modern-finished and furnished, not to mention spotless. The sea in Marsascala was just exceptional and there are both rocky and sandy beaches nearby, so it's up to you to choose. Restaurants are mostly Mediterranean food but that's no issue since the food is delicious and quite reasonably priced considering they are overlooking the sea. Plenty of things to do in Marsascala. Walking along the promenade by night was my favourite.
Ultimately, I would recommend this gem to anyone who is looking for a great holiday with an apartment that is located in just the perfect area. We'll be back soon!
