My family stayed in your hotel for 2 nights in December. We had 2 young sons (aged 5 and 7) and we left a toy dog (a souvenir we bought on our tour in Europe). Unfortunately, we left the toy dog behind and left for Singapore shores. Understandably our boys were devastated. We would like to thank the Assistant Facility Manager Daisy Geschiere for going out of her way in helping us retrieve the lost toy dog and sending it back to us - all the way in sunny Singapore! We offered to pay for the courier charges but Ms Daisy has kindly offered to send it back at the hotel's cost. Her extremely kind gesture has really made our day, and epitomises what customer service should be like at every hotel - delighting the customer and exceeding their expectations. Thank you Ibis and thank you Daisy for your kindness. Indeed, Christmas has come early for us here in Singapore, and all the way from snowy Amsterdam.

The hotel was a shuttle bus away, the schedule is posted and they do keep to it, the layout of the hotel was in wings so a bit confusing but not a problem

The staff were helpful and a nice shop in the lobby for last minute items

The deal on this hotel was great, and it is soo close to the airport Schiphol and their shuttle service is supreme! It is a great place to stay for business trips or overnight before a flight. Would definitely recommend it for these!

In November this year we stayed at this Hotel for one night en route to South Africa. On leaving the room we cleared the safe of our valuables and caught our early morning flight.
On arriving at Johannesburg, I was devastated to discover I had not got a small leather jewellery pouch which I had placed in the safe.

I contacted the hotel and housekeeping and they went to look for and found the jewellery! The staff kindly took photos for me for insurance purposes, packaged it safely and this week it arrived via courier here with me in Sheffield.

What fantastic customer service!!

I would like to thank all of the staff and particularly Peter & Daisy for their help in returning my jewellery to me. It has great sentimental value.

perfectly situated
nice room
quite and confortable
wonderful staff
Shuttle bus to Schiphol which is very good
early breakfast available
try the cajun fries (these are really good)
C-wing not advisable due to be situated just at the smoke area

Stayed overnight on layover at Schiphol - definitely not a luxury hotel, but clean, modern and efficient! Rather dorm-like in construction (I'm OK with that,) food options on property. This hotel is shuttle bus ride from Airport.

Its not very often I stay at airport hotels, for two reasons: They tend to be noisy with aircraft sounds late at night, and they are usually in the middle of nowhere.
Ibis Amsterdam Airport has managed to change my perception!
The free shuttlebus from the airport is clearly signposted, and operates a regular service 24 hours a day, with peak services between 5am and 10am and again between 4pm and 10pm. The bus calls at three hotels, including an Ibis Budget hotel, which is very close to the main Ibis hotel. The bus calls at the budget first, then the main hotel, so dont get off too early!
On arrival very polite and attentive staff. There is a city tax to pay on arrival, which they were very apologetic about, however it was only 7 Euros on a 3 night stay. The rooms are functional, with a decent bed, good shower facilities and a TV, although there are limited international channels available. My only negative comment is that the room was quite cold, and the a/c unit was unable to deliver any heat. There is no excessive noise, and I was not woken up once by aircraft noise. I was on the ground floor D wing.
Breakfast in the 4th floor resturant was mainly continental style, with scrambled eggs and hash browns available. Plenty of tea/coffee/juice available on tap. All perfectly acceptable.
You can use the shuttle bus as often as you like to get back to the airport where there are other eating options, or you can jump on a train to the centre of Amsterdam. The bus runs 24hrs, and a timetable is available to pick up at reception, making it very easy to plan an evening out of the hotel at minimum cost.
All in, a good job at an affordable price. Would be happy to stay again.
