“Great Camp”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

Duinrell is a very nice camp. There is loads to do and most of it is included in the price. Not the scariest rides in the world but good fun. There is also a adventure course where you can compete with each other to the end of the course.
The swimming complex is pretty good too, there is an extra charge for this but worth it. If you find my tooth in the bottom of the pool I would be grateful if you could return it lol.
Would highly recommend

“Lovely Theme Park for All Ages”
Reviewed 28 January 2014

If you are staying at Duinrell campsite and caravan park entry is free for your entire stay, absolute bargain and you can use the rides as many times as you like. If you are a day visitor the cost is around 16 euros per person
The park is well cared for and has plenty of trees, flower beds etc and is divided into various sections. Since our last visit an area of more extreme roller coasters and other rides has been installed, keeping teenagers happy, although Alton Towers it aint! There are toddler rides, indoor soft play and many family type rides, many of which seem unique to this park which adds to the fun. There is a large play area with slides, swings, roundabouts etc in the centre of the park and a more rustic woodland area with a toboggan run and (at extra cost) a high ropes course similar to Go Ape in the UK. There is also a fairytale area with singing models, miniature houses etc which very much reminds me of Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight.
There are a few indoor amusements, the Shadow House being our favourite, again something not seen before.
Photos taken on the rides cost 2 euros to email home and then download, a great idea we thought.
There are plenty of little gift shops selling the usual tat that children love, sweet shops etc and various stalls selling chocolate fruit kebabs, poffertjes and other Dutch treats. The food outlets range from chips and other fast food to a lovely self service restaurant serving reasonably priced freshly made rolls, soups, smoothies, cakes etc, all very much of the home made variety and of infinitely better quality than would be found in any UK theme park. there is also a pancake house with a carousel inside it!
The Tikkibad fun pool is also situated in the park, which you pay for separately but as this is open until 10pm you can visit after the rides have closed.
Our visits have been in October so no queues encountered at all but some of the little gift shops and food outlets are closed at that time of year.but that has not spoiled our enjoyment of the place.
Always had fun here and would highly recommend to families with children of all ages.

Great rides for little and big kids, great playground for when the queues were long, and fab eateries.

“Amazing Place”
Reviewed 17 December 2013

We went here for our April 2012 Vacation (although the visit date list here only lets me go back as far as Jan 2012) Holiday and could not fault it one bit!! Staff were very helpful. There are millions of things on offer for children. The Theme Park is amazing. What a brilliant Family Holiday :)

“Superb for family holiday”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Spent a week there and had a superb time. Basically its a camp/static van site within a themepark and multi slide swimming complex. Kids will never be bored here with so much to do. Stayed in Duinglow, well worth it over camping. Theme park, though not up to Alton towers standard has plenty of rides for all. My 11 YO never stopped all day. Queues for the popular rides not too bad, rarely more than 30 minutes, no queues at all in the morning or evening. you are given a free 2 hour pass to the pool in the morning, plenty of slides to use, but it does get very busy here (this is the time to go on the themepark rides when everyone else is swimming)!
my favorite is the uncovered log flume, you get very wet!
Tip for self catering, there is a supermarket on site but prices quite expensive. a couple of miles away is a Lidl in Katwijk where the food (and beer) is around a quarter of the price on the site.
