Just returned from 10 nights stay at Duinrell.
Al Fresco customer service poor. Caravan Plot had a tree in the decking and was shaded neatly all the time. Worse still was the bird mess every morning and we gave up cleaning this and sitting out - what a waste. Barbecue was flimsy and disgusting. Asked to get moved and was told by the supervisor that he would get back to us - it never happened. Girl that took us to caravan on day one was asked where the beach was and her response was - I do not know I have only nene here 4 weeks and have not had time to go! We visited Eurocamp office which had excellent maps and people happy to help. Al fresco chap on the last day said they could not put up guides like Eurocamp as head office dictates what goes on the notice board. We'll done to the Eurocamp staff. We paid more to go with al fresco and we're left very disappointed - save your money and go with another operator.

The good stuff which were really good - Park excellent - very clean. Rides excellent for 8 year old and 10 year old. Local town of Wassenar beautiful. C1000 good supermarket and on site supermarket good although more expensive. Visited miniature village outside den Haag which was great, Amsterdam excellent - park and ride at the Olympic stadium which was 8 euro for parking and 8 euro for tram for 4 return to Amsterdam - excellent value. Visited Leinden which was good. Took cycles and had a great time as a family in the cycle tracks to the beach and back.well worth visiting. The Netherlands and the people are excellent and very helpful. Swimming complex on site is fantastic and we visited this twice. Braved the falcon roller coaster as a family on last day - awesome and not as frightening as we thought. Overall great holiday let down by al fresco plot and al fresco staff

Stayed for a week over Easter and had a brilliant time. Caught the ferry to Dunkirk and drove to the site which was easy to find.
We stayed in a two bedroom caravan which was fully equipped, we even used the decking to sit out in the sun! Only slight gripe would be because both bedrooms have ensuite this reduced the bedroom size which would have been a problem if staying longer, for storage and clutter.
The kids loved the site, we hired bikes and cycled to the beach and into the nearby village. The kids also hired gocarts to whizz around the site. The theme park was free if staying on the site so we spent a few hours a day in the park, which has rides for all ages. We also used the water park, which is full of slides and the kids loved it especially the lazy river, I thought it was okay but you couldn't' actually swim as there was no pool inside and it was too cold to swim in the outside pool areas. Probably better in summer though.
We drove into Amsterdam and The Hague for day trips and will definitely visit the site again soon as it's ideally situated for sightseeing.
The site has a reasonably priced shop, pub and pizza place though there are shops and restaurants in the nearby village.
All in all, highly recommend for a family holiday.

Found the campsite no problem. Signs say registration as you go in to your right which takes you to a very large carpark .Then you have to go back to where you came in at to the Left to book in.Would've been helpful if signs were placed a bit better. Young girl at reception was very helpful and nice. We were early as just came off boat and was told we wouldn't get on till 12.When we went back to carpark we were told if the pitch is free just to go through. Some of the pitches are very tight to get down too so if camping and you have a big unit read the map carefully incase you go down the wrong one. Big pitch plenty toilets and showers and plenty sinks for washing up. They have a nice area just for the children with their own showers and toilets and changing area. We went to park through the week and was quiet. Don't expect to much from the rides but they were okay. The Tikki bar was good but got really busy at night you couldn't move. You pay 3 euros for this which was ok as lots to do but you had to queue to get on the slides. We ate at the restaurant was good. Went to see Annie it was good but just the songs were in English was quite funny. A good supermarket quite big. The short walk into town would be worth while as a brilliant butcher and a supermarket, baker and green grocer. Lovely cafés and you have to go to the ice cream parlour big selection of flavours and lovely milkshakes. We caught the bus a few times as didn't fancy taking the motorhome. There is a bus stop at the park takes you to central station then you can go further from there depending on where you want to go.Brilliant if you have kids everything on your doorstep. You also need your passes for getting back in to site and no noise at all after 11pm we were here for a week and some nights it was a wee bit rowdy but stopped at 11pm.

Second time at the amusement park. The park is aimed at all ages but there seems to be more for younger children overall. Unlike british theme parks there is no hard sell to buy post ride photos etc. In fact prices were cheaper than expected. Our only disappointment is the need to pay for the world class swimming pool, which is the best we've ever experienced.
