We really enjoyed our holiday at Duinrell thus summer. This is a fantastic holiday park for many reasons and we would definitely come again. Firstly having the theme park made the holiday because the rides are good and perfect for the age of my kids 10 and 8 and also for older kids. It's a big place with bit just rides but a large area for little ones too and normal play park areas. The food within the theme park was delicious at 'La place' restaurant and we were impressed. It's pricey but superb quality food. There is also a pancake restaurant and profiteroles stands etc and places to get fast food too.

On site there's a supermarket but in the village about 5 to 10 min walk there is a c100 supermarket which is better value and choice. The village is beautiful and fantastic eating places plus an ice cream parlour 1 euro a scoop called Luciano's. Delicious!

To get to Amsterdam we needed to get a bus to Leiden and then a train to Amsterdam. In total the journey was about 30-40 mins including bus. We paid 4euro each for bus (even kids) although depending on driver some give kids half fare. Then 36 euro in total for all four of us on train.

If you fancy a trip to the beach, I don't recommend scheveningen unless you are dying to go and you have a car. We had to get a bus to Den Haag which cost 16 euro total. Then from there a tram to scheveningen which cost 12 euro is we paid in total to get there and back 60 euro to visit a beach that looked like Blackpool. Instead would be better to hire cycles for the day at duinrell and cycle to nearby beach 20 mins bike ride.

We stayed in a 3 bed vista home which we booked through euro camp and it was ok but a bit small. Next time we plan to book direct with the holiday park and stay in a dungalow which are bigger and better equipped and better value.

We booked here for a large family holiday. There was 2 adults and children ages 1, 3, 7, 10 and 13 and the amazing thing was there was something for everyone from the adults to the baby! The theme park is amazing - something you would pay big money to enter anywhere else but free for staying guest. Rollercoaster are fantastic from kidies ones to ones that would scare adults! The outdoor pools are great with a few slides and then the indoor waterpark is great value at just €3.50 with under 4's going free.
The campsite is extremely safe and friendly. We booked through Canvas who I can't recommend highly enough. The mobile home (only 2 bedroom cos we left is late to book and all three beds where gone) fit everyone in and the decking was lovely to sit out on. Beds very comfortable - we all slept better then at home.
There is an entertainment program running day (football comps, playstation 3 comps, etc) adn night (Dirty Dancing, kiddies bingo, etc).
There is a little town a few minutes walk with a shop called C1000 that's cheaper then aldi! A fab little ice cream parlour that is gorgeous and very cheap called Luciano's - don't miss it.
There is bike and go-cart rental on site also. We had planned a trip to the beach but couldn't get the kids out of the park. never queued for more the 25 minutes for anytime - most of the time 10-15 minutes.
We booked transport from the amsterdam airport with suntransfers return for an 8 seater was €127.
I wish I'd found this years ago, I worked for Sol Melia in Spain years ago and always thought they were the best but this place is in a league of it's own!

We stayed for a week and kept well entertained. The park has a good variety of rides for younger and older kids. The Tiki Bad was also a hit. The park felt secure so I felt happy to let the kids roam on bikes and go carts. The supermarket is great and convenient. There's lots to do off the park. Wassenar and the beach are lovely. Leiden is easy to reach and a great day out.

Just came back after spending a week in Duinrell. The comfort bungalow was nice, maybe a bit small but neat and cosy, and fine for us, a family of 4. The rides in the amusement park were great fun, the swimming pool had enough slides and features to make it worth a return visit. Nearby Wassenaar is a lovely town and the beach is well worth hiring a bike to go and visit. Highly recommend this place for a family holiday.

This was our first time in Holland and look forward to returning. The camp site was clean, well laid out and a great location for touring the area. Bike and go-kart hire was great for the family and a short ride takes you to lovely little beach. The camp site was perfect for our needs but as we were leaving in mid July the campsite seemed to be getting very busy, temporary fences going up around the car park etc. I don't think I would have enjoyed it if it had become any more busier! Most people respect the 11pm curfew but there was always a few loud voices. The welcome pack made it clear this would not be tolerated but I never heard anybody approaching the people.
The caravan was good and when we arrived it was very clean. Due to our family size we required to use the pull down settee which we had to alternate who was sleeping in it as it was the most uncomfortable bed in the caravan.
The camp rep was pleasant and visited a couple if times which I thought was a pleasant touch.
The location was perfect for us. Entertainment from the activities in the park was excellent but we did not go to the bar activities at all.

Room Tip: We liked the island location for its quietness

Duinrell is a fantastic place to go for a family holiday. We stayed in a duingalow which was situated about a minute walk from the theme park. To begin with I first thought it was going to be noisy at night however, the theme park closes at 6pm and after the theme park closes everyone heads towards the plaza which is the other side of the park. The duingalow was clean and spacious, a little bigger than the average sized caravan with a patio and private garden so you didn't feel overlooked.
The theme park was great our children who are 12 and 15 years old loved it. There are plenty of rides for all ages although we went during summer holidays you never had to wait too long to go on the rides. Tiki bad which is the swimming park was also fantastic there are lots of lifeguards keeping watch. The slides are great and are for all ages whether you are a dare devil or not!! Our favourite slide was moonlight and star fright on which as you slide down on a rubber inflatable you experience different coloured flashing lights. As we stayed in a duingalow the theme park and tiki bad were free. I would recommend going to tiki bad as soon as it opens at 10am because there are no queues at this time.
The beaches are amazing in Holland they are absolutely beautiful. There are many cafes/restaurants along the actual beach with superb seating areas.
I would recommend getting an ice cream from Lucinos in Wassanaar they are delicous with many favours to choose from.
There are two supermarkets close by don't go to Aldi not a great selection and it was grubby and smelt bad. C1000 is the better option good selection and quite big there is a car park underneath the shop which you are able to park in for two hours for free giving you pkenty of time to shop, get an ice cream and look around Wassanaar.
My husband also went fishing after speaking to the man at the tackle shop in Wassanaar who was very helpful.
Would definitely go back here again

Just spent a week there with 7 + 10 year old boys, they loved every minute, plenty for them to enjoy. The water park and amusement parks have plenty to keep the kids busy. The village and shops, bars and cafes are only 10 mins walk from the camp so you won't feel clostrophbic. I couldnt ride a bike for medical reasons but everything remained accessible. We will certainly be back next year.
