We were staying in Duinrell and this place was recommended as we wanted to have pannekoeken. One night we tried and enjoyed very filling savoury pancakes and were quite full. We returned another evening and tried sweet pancakes. The service was good and the staff friendly. The children on the first evening had children's meals which were large.

We first discovered this place in 2007 and came back for more this year. The staff are incredibly welcoming and speak English far better than my faltering attempts at Dutch. They are very child friendly and the pancakes are the best I have ever tasted. The menu is good value extremely comprehensive, as is thier beer and wine list. No visit or stay at Wassenaar is complete without a visit here.

Situated right outside the main entrance to Duinrell, this is a short stroll from the site to a place serving authentic Dutch pancakes. The selection is amazing ranging from sweet to savoury, alcoholic to ice cream filled plus combos of sweet and savoury such as ham and pineapple, bacon, cheese and raisin....so difficult to choose from the 100 variations offered. if pancakes aren't your thing then there is an ordinary menu with a good choice available too.
The decor is very traditional and there are fresh flowers and lit candles on every table.
We found the waitress to be efficient and polite and all food is freshly cooked to order.
The pancakes are enormous and filled us up for the rest of the day at a cost of between 7 - 10 euros depending on the filling you chose.
We visited this restaurant on our last visit to the area eight years ago and found it to be just as good as previously and would definitely visit when in the area again.

A choice of about 100 pancakes (savoury and sweet) at about 10 euros a piece. 1 pancake each filled us up - about 30cm across. If you're staying at the nearby Duinrell site, then it's only a 3 minute walk from the main gate.

Visited here while on holiday at duinrell park next door. Unfortunately we didn't try the pancakes as we went in the evening so we had a main meal which was very good with very large portions.
If we ever go back to duinrell I will definitely be visiting here to try the massive pancake menu
