“The rooms and staff are memorable!”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Excellent option to stay in Algarve area! The rooms are one of the biggest that I've stayed. The breakfast has many options. All the staff are so friendly and the facilities are renewed and clean!
They have a parking with no charge!! And ask for a room with a pool view. Also, amazing bed!!!
And save a time for the spa/jacuzzi. Unfortunately it closes at 7PM...very early for me!
I would definitely come back here!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with pool view!

Staying at Tivoli Victoria Residence Apartments which is part of this lovely hotel complex. The apartments are one of the best I have ever stayed in. All modern and quality amenities, dishwasher washing machine with dryer microwave oven flat screen tvs in every room, and all you need to stay in! everything you could wish for. We reserved a two bed apartment and got three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There are two receptions one for the hotel and one for the apartments, which would be handy to know before we arrived as it was a walk with suitcases! You can also order prior to your arrival if you email the hotel directly for basic provisions on your arrival. This would have been helpful for ourselves as we arrived late in the evening. You will need a car to travel around. There is a shuttle bus to the Vilamoura Marina but for ease and time we rented a car. All guests can use the facilities of the hotel and they are exceptional. The beds were slightly on the firm side for my taste. The guests have a book in which sets out some basic but respectful rules regarding noise which is great the only moan I would have is that we had some young people above us that scrapped the chairs on the marble floors and a young couple singing nursery rhymes to their children at 7.30am on the balcony, but only slightly annoying. The balconies are rather open so privacy could be a little distracting if you are there. I cant fault anything really we would recommend to anyone and would definitely go back.

Dear Guest, thank you for sharing your experience at The Residences. We’re glad to know you enjoyed the apartments. It’s always good to know that our continuous improvement efforts are recognized. Thank you in behalf of all our staff. Our apartments are really very cozy and they are equipped with the newest technologies and a sophisticated and elegant decor. I´m sorry about the noise issue if we had be able to identify the problem we could've tried to change you to a quieter apartment.
We look forward for your visit in the near future.

Its a modern and very relaxing hotel. The bedrooms are super comfortable and everything feels fresh and well taken care of.

The spa, the pools, the service is very good. Even though one must go to the beach by car (10 mts), it is worth it. I would go back and recommend for those who would like to enjoy a relaxing time in Algarve.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. If I was staying here wihtout children i think the hotel would have been much better. Has a nice pool - trendy lounge music - several restaurantes nice spa. the rooms are large and have great balconies. The food in all the restaurants and for room service was always very good. The staff service was also friendly although they could pay more attention to being proactive and trying to come to the customers rather than customers having to chase them to be served. However as we were here with three kids - there were certianly some let downs. took 12 hours to have someone give us the correct remote to use the in room DVD player (after having asked repeatedly) - the childrens club is rather abandoned and has no monitors or anyone present (might as well not have one) - if you want to go to the pool in the residences (which has a ehated pool) you have to take towels from the hotel (5 in this case) walk out of hotel cross road etc. As the residences will not provide you with towels. the paper shop in the hotel will not charge your room (this is absolutely RIDICULOUS) and unheard of - you have to PAY for internet - again in this day and age and considering the type of room s we had booked unacceptable. Lastly we had the feeling that this was a package hotel for tour operators from the UK. A lot of english guests who looked liked they belonged in Magaluf or some other spanish beach resort. So all in all certainly suggest for couples - however for families with Children i would suggest the Hilton in Vilamoura which has smaller rooms but all in all is much easier and more pleasant with children.

Dear Guest, thank you for sharing your experience at Tivoli Victoria and for the good mentions about our facilities.
About the Residences pool and towels, we thank you your feedback and due to that, since today we implemented a new procedure where the hotel guest may pick up the towel at The Residences. Our children club – T/Kids, operates with monitors during Holiday Season, as Easter, Carnival and Summer, however the Residences T/Kids has a monitor and programme activity since May till October. About the fact that no free internet service was provided. I would just like to mention that if you sign up to our free loyalty programme - GHA Discovery- you will have free WIFI internet as well as other benefits such as a free bottle of mineral water in your room on arrival and a free daily newspaper of your choice during your stay. Sign up on your next visit and you'll also have access to a unique portfolio of local experiences.
If you have any further queries or comments, please do hesitate to contact me at mario.custodio@tivolihotels.com.
We hope to exceed your best expectations next time you stay in Vilamoura.

This was indeed a very nice hotel and the bedroom was perfect with the exception of no tea making facilities . I asked for a kettle which was not a problem but then had to pay for 3 tea bags to be delivered to my room. This was billed as room service. There was a coffee machine in the rooms this costs €2 per capsule. The lady who is at the breakfast desk every morning was a dragon. Very unfriendly and did not smile. In fact non of the staff at breakfast had a smile. The reception staff were all very helpful and the lady on the golf desk was also very good. A coffee in a plastic small cup by the pool was €9. My friend gave them 10 and they did not come back with the change. Yes indeed a very nice clean hotel with great rooms but remove the dragon at breakfast as that sort of greeting to start your day will put you off your golf. !!

We wanted a special location and holiday experience for our Birthdays. We were not disappointed all the elements that we hoped would be in a 10 day break away from our home comforts were there. Wonderful breakfast with something for everyone, fresh salmon, breads, pastries, fruit, omelettes made for you. Fruit juice, champagne , hot tea and coffee.Open access to the spa which we a;most had to our selves , included steam, sauna, tropical showers pool and view and sunbeds on the terrace. Vera in the Spa was wonderful and always made us welcome, treatment were available menu and costs affordable. We traveled on an early flight from Edinburgh and were encouraged to make full use of pool facilities until our room was ready....we felt that the hotel could out of high season have a system in place to let early travelers get the room before 3pm. The room was worth waiting for ...we liked the tv with excellent channel choice, balcony facilities and spa like approach to same with movable walls within room allowed privacy when bathing our showering and opening up to open plan access at other times...of course separate toilet. I look a travel kettle and the small fridge kept our drinks cold. Bathrobes, towels and spa slippers added to luxury feel as well as the usual shower , shampoo and body lotions all beautiful. And for the golfers who don't want to plat...bring your golf shoes and enjoy the free access to putting green and driving range with small charge for golf balls and clubs ... 20 euro.

Room Tip: we had pool and golf course views ......excellent balcony views and day bed sun from mid day to earl...

The Elements Spa by Banyan Tree emphasizes the human touch and the therapists studied at BT Academy for 2 years, it´s luxury spa concept and the prices are accordingly to that., nevertheless we would like to thank you for your feedback, which was worth of our best attention and will enable us to improve our services.
