This is the 3rd year we have been to the Algarve in August and I was really looking forward to a visit to Parky’s for tapas and sangria. I was so disappointed to find it is now a full-on Brits abroad pub. The menu was limited to Mexican, burgers or British classics that are not designed to be eaten in a Mediterranean climate. We did try the Mexican food and it was tasty but not what I’d expect to eat in Portugal. Sangria was refreshing but the litre jug had been so filled with ice that there wasn’t very much liquid in it. This made it poor value compared with other establishments. Only worth a visit if you fancy pub grub at a price that is reasonable by marina standards.
