“Peach in a Haven of Peace”

Being able to satisfy the needs of older people such as myself and my better half as well as fitting directly into the needs of Chilren in their 20s and their partners is usuall a difficult task. Villa Nuala met the bill completely and perfectly.
The peace and tranquility of the setting backing on to the fairway of a par 4 and the easy access to both Vilamoura and Quarteira were only the start. The villa itself allowed for both formal and informal evenings catered and self catered. To relax by the heated pool in late September was a joy, in the day the pool was used to cool down and on an occasional evening to warm up.
The villa is adorable and bedecked superbly.
Many thanks for being the host of one of the most memorable holidays that our family has had. Would I recommend, suffice it to dsay that Villa Nual will be revisited and has inspired us to look at the potential of having our own place somewhere not to far away.
Many thanks

“Wonderful Villa in a Wonderful Place”

Had a lovely holiday with my elderly parents who also loved it. Villa Nuala is the nicest villa we have stayed in, in a really nice residential area. The heated pool was so nice to cool off in as it was so hot. We felt very safe with the security shutters and they helped keep the rooms cool. The walk to the marina took us about 20 minutes (30 with my elderly parents) but we enjoyed the exercise. Taxis are plenty and cost us about 5 euros to get back as it is uphill. The management company were excellent we had towels and bedding changed and Judite was always available to help if needed. Nuala arranged the taxi transfers for us and everything went like clockwork. Nuala also supplied all the information we needed and kept in touch with us which was very reassuring. This was our first vist to Villamoura and it definately wont be our last. To top it all off the weather was brilliant. I would definately recommend this villa to anyone who wants to stay in a 5 star villa in a lovely area of the Algarve.

“Traditional, charming villa in lovely location”

Villa Nuala is a gem. It is an beautiful, authentic villa yet has all the mod cons necessary for a relaxing, low-maintenance holiday for a family of 4, in our case. It is very spacious - we had some friends join us for a few days and the villa easily accomodates 6. The villa feels very secure and has automatic shutters for all windows. The pool is a really generous size with a decent deep end and the terrace has a lovely, peaceful outlook over the pretty garden and Pinhal Golf Course. The road is a quiet residential road with other well-maintained villas on it. We hired a car which we would recommend for grocery shops (we found Pingo Doce and Spar better than Jaffers) and trips to golf, water parks etc. Villamoura Tennis Academy 5 minutes drive away is well worth a visit if you are into tennis. The walk into the Marina takes a good 15 minutes when walking with children - taxis in Vilamoura seemed non-existent especially at night when the queue at the taxi rank was huge (maybe thats just August!).
The owner, Nuala, gave us lots of useful local information prior to our visit and the agent was there to greet us on arrival.
We don't often return to the same place on holiday but we would love to come back to Villa Nuala!

Our stay at Villa Nuala in Vilamoura was wonderful experience with the Villa, Pool and Gardens very well maintained, and with Nuala's pre holiday information / communication it gave us a good insight to what was in store for our first visit to Portugal.
We bit the bullet and hired a car as we wanted to venture further afield, but if you intend staying local, I would not bother.
Loads of eating options, in or out, Supermarkets ( Pingo Doce, Spar, Jaspers etc, just to name a few ) and for the out option the list is just as extensive.
It is worth noting that if you have travellers cheques, Visa T C's are more problematic in this area, unsure as to the why, but American Express seemed to be the preferred option.
If you get the chance in a busy schedule, Parasailing, Family Golf Park, and the Waterparcs worth the effort, with the later, dedicated Buses operate to these, and of course, the casual stroll of an evening to take in the atmosphere of the Marina.
Finally, if you do go for the Hire Car, be aware of the pedestrian crossings which there are many and some crossing markings coming up to the end of their sell by date, but with pedestrians having the Right of Way ( of course ) it is best to have your wits about you.
I do hope this brief insight has helped.

“Great little find”

Myself and my husbands family stayed here for a week in June. The Villa is wonderful! It is lovely and modern and very well presented. A few things have been updated since the pictures were taken so it looks even better if that's possible. We were in a group of 3 couples and we didn't feel like we struggled for space at all. It is also situated on a lovely estate with some other fab looking villas. It is very easy to find from Faro airport and is about a 20/25 minute drive if you hire a car. Nuala, the owner, has been fab with sending us updates and giving us all the details.
The pool is great and just big enough. The villa is situated in a lovely quite location so I spent many mornings sat next to the pool reading and enjoying the peace! The wifi is also an added bonus, we have three iPads running from it mist days and it worked fine and even worked whilst say around the pool.
The Villa is about a 30 minute slow work down to the Marina in Villamoura and we did this every night and even in the day sometimes. We also went to Jaffers (the Supermarket) most days and this is a quick five minute drive away. It is walkable but a distance if you are carrying heavy goods.
There are some fab restaurants in Villamoura, I suggest trying some away from the Marina too. We found a fab little Mexican restaurant on our walk down to the Marina. When you look at it from the front, it doesn't look like anything special but the food was amazing. I would not recommend eating at Chicos. This is on the walk from the Villa to the Marina so situated on one of the back streets. The food really wasn't very good and was served cold.
All in all, a fab holiday and I would highly recommend this Villa! We would book again if we returned to Villamoura.

“Lovely place to stay for our Easter break”

Villa Nuala is a beautifully presented and spacious luxury villa. The impression on first arrival is of a pretty and well-tended front garden and on entering the villa is of the spacious hall which opens into the large lounge and dining room which are separated by stairs. The flooring in hall, lounge, dinning room, stairs and landing is light-coloured large marble tiling which give a luxurious feel. Two of the the three bedrooms are very large, the third only being large ! All have en-suite bathrooms which are all very nice. The back garden is also beautifully presented with lovely plants, shrubs and trees. Whilst we were there, the two bottle brush or callistemon trees, one in the front and one in the back, were in full bloom with their red bottle brushes. The heated pool is well above average size with ample loungers around it. There is an outside dining table/chairs convenient for the barbecue and a conventional white PVC dining table/chairs closer to the pool. The kitchen is well-equipped including a large stand-alone fridge freezer. Nuala was very helpful and efficient with lots of useful information before, during and after our stay.
