“Always Good”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Lovely restaurant. Food's good and staff are very friendly. Kid's loved their chicken nuggets (which looked home-made). Steak on a stone is always good for a laugh, but make sure to leave room for dessert. They're great. Have the meringue.

“Delicious Steak”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

We were staying in 'The Old Village' for my boyfriends 30th birthday and we choose to have his birthday dinner in Princess Garden, and we are glad we did. The restaurant itself looks amazing from the outside, what a gorgeous building! Beautiful inside too. We had originally booked a table on the outside terrace, but as it was later in the evening it was quite windy so they had reserved a lovely table inside the restaurant for us.
Had lovely champagne cocktails and we both had the famous 'steak on the stone' which was delicious! Adds to the fun factor being able to cook your own steak yourself (provided with aprons!) Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the Old Village, or even to anyone staying in Vilamoura, a trip to the beautiful old village for dinner and drinks is definitely recommended, the surroundings are gorgeous.

“A very pleasant evening- ”
Reviewed 31 May 2014 via mobile

We ate here one night during our stay. We had heard good reviews & we weren't disappointed!
our table was on the balcony & it was quit cold, however the waitress brought me out a blanket. The staff were very professional & helpful. It was just a pity I had to eat my food quickly to avoid it from going cold.
My partner enjoyed a steak while I had a veg curry which was very tasty.
It was a little pricey, but the food was very good.
Definitely worth a visit!

“Great setting and reasonable prices”

We were staying at the old village and so we didn't have far to stumble! Wonderful setting and friendly staff, had the leek soup to start which was a but bland? Main course ribeye a bit chewy but tasty, chocolate cake desert was very good!

“Lovely food and beautiful setting.”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

We ate here one night during our stay at the old village as a friend was minding our kids. We turned up without a booking and were told the restaurant was full, but they could seat us on a balcony. We were told it was a little cold out there but were shown the table and told we could decide ourselves if we wanted to eat there or come back later when an inside table was available. It was lovely out there overlooking the pool so we took the table.
The staff were all very nice and friendly. The food was very good and the desserts were as good as we had eaten in vilamoura.
Just before our desserts came out the waitress asked if we were cold. My wife said she was a little and the waitress brought out a blanket for her to wrap up in. That for me was as good as customer service gets.
It was just a pity that we didnt have time to relax and have a drink after as the setting was beautiful.
Lovely restaurant with great staff and we will definately be back when we visit the algarve again. 9/10
