Description: Cafe Del Arte is a bit diferente then other bars & restaurants in the area, The setting is special as your dinning or relaxing under mature vine trees with relaxing non comercial music, our menu varies time to time and is not large but all we prepare is home made and we use a lot fresh herbs and spieces, we always can make some vegetarian dishes as well, Our tapas can be a nice starter or just a snack with your glass of wine, We sell small handicrafts, art pieces and paintings from local artist, and orginize various theme nights throughout the summer period, For now every Wendsday we have a BBQ with live entertainment We are open during the day for lunch or afternoon drinks as well and for dinner reservations is highly recomended.

What a lovely setting, we sat under grape vines in a perfectly decorated outdoor area, the food was heaven to the taste buds. Had tapas and main courses beautifully presented and delicious. Service was so friendly we felt very welcomed.

We ordered our food and it took an hour and a half to arrived with the starters. I ordered some drinks and I had to go to the bar to remind them about the order 30 minutes later, the owner/head waiter seemed to be annoyed that I had reminded him. The arrival of the main courses was just as bad. The owner/head waiter seem to have lost the plot with his attitude, although he’d did recover and said sorry later in the proceedings. We had planned for a really nice family meal and it turned into a disaster. The steaks were ok but the rest of the food was very average. A very long and extended night.

Over the past 3 years have visited here on 5 occasions, but for a variety of reasons never managed to make it on a Wednesday evening in the season.
This has now been put right - Wednesday evening is “Special Night” for which prior reservation is essential to avoid disappointment.
“Special Night” - a fixed price menu for a lovely selection of BBQ food and wonderful entertainment.
The restaurant is small and intimate and lends itself to this type of evening. Outside terrace and tables set beneath a grapevine. A welcome drink of champagne followed by a plate of tapas & bread. Last night we had bbq’d salmon cooked with tomato, broccoli & lemon. Next came garlic prawns Pil pil.
This was followed by 3 more courses of a homemade burger, spare ribs and finally Asian spiced chicken breast. All the dishes were accompanied by a lovely Greek salad and a cold vegetable dish which was actually perfect for the dishes.
Meal served at a very leaisurely pace and interspersed by a superb violinist and a local dance troupe - 3 female / 1 male. Several outfit changes, several types of dancing, including a fire display. The finalee had all tables up and dancing with the dancers in the side street in front of the restaurant.
A memorable and enjoyable evening for sure and all in very good value @ €32.50 per head.Drinks extra.
