A lovely little country pub serving excellent quality food. Visited on numerous occasions and Chris & Ally always make us feel welcome. Children are welcome, and there is a childs menu available. Very reasonably priced home made food. The desserts are to die for!!!!!! Watch out for the homemade cheesecake on the specials board. DELICIOUS.

We were staying in the area and dropped in for something light. Didn't expect such beautiful food in such a small quiet village on a Thursday in march. I amnt normally a big haggis fan but these mushrooms filled with haggis topped with local cheddar, fabulous. My husband really enjoyed his pork belly, which was new to the menu, and the accompanying veg were so well cooked. All simply served as if we were at home, but such careful cooking. The Station Inn was so quiet on this rainy night that we didn't even think they were open for food, but this certainly didn't feel like something that was hastily put together. I'd love to try more of the menu. So, just gave 4 for atmosphere, but that was because no one else ventured out on this horrible night, but the host couldn't have been friendlier

Good portions of home made, fresh food served by a pleasant landlord, Chris. Just of the motorway close to Gretna. Good local lager, Scafell Blonde.

Staying in Kirkpatrick Flemming for a family get-away. Came here in first night and were accommodated in the bar as the Resturant was full. Landlord was extremely attentive and friendly. Was amazingly surprised at the quality of food. Fresh, simple and tasty. Great value.. Would be paying close to double for that back home... (Try the chicken with haggis!)

My wife and I were here recently for an evening meal in the company of good friends. We all enjoyed our food which was well presented and great value for money. I can personally recommend the Pate starter, Salmon fillet for the main course and raspberry pavlova for dessert. All of which were delicious and very generous portions. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very pleasant owners. We will be back.

Kind regards, KB.
