So first of all I had a lovely stay. Room was fine, bed was comfortable, bathroom was large with a good size shower and it was all nicely decorated. The staff were almost universally great. All three treatments I had were lovely.
It just feels a little like they’re not quite ready yet.
There were no robes in our room - we were told that we could pick them up from the spa. This would have been fine if the spa had any! We had to hang around until they were out of the drier. (Priority for the robes is given to day spa guests)
There was no hotel information in the room. The people on the front desk were great, but seemed a bit odd that they didn’t have these ready yet (which is what we were told when we asked)
Also the walls between rooms (we stayed in a mews cottage) were a little thin, which wasn’t great when our neighbour had obviously had a bit too much to drink the night before...
The food was brilliant however and the service in both restaurants, the spa and in the hotel itself couldn’t be faulted.More
