“Stunning location and an improved property. Wonderful”

We liked our first stay in Rezzo so much that we came back again, and again to Casa Soprano. While we were away, the owners David and Emma, had made some small improvements to the property. A mezzanine room, which sleeps another 2 people has been renovated, they've added a hifi and iPod dock and wifi (all very welcome) and they have installed a pizza oven on the terrace.

The location is still wonderful, sitting at the top of a quiet valley. The terrace offers fantastic panoramic views and is a wonderful spot at any time of the day. Rezzo is a great town for our small children, little traffic, lots of narrow pedestrian friendly streets and very friendly locals.

The owners have now built up a really good collection of restaurant recommendations, both in and around Rezzo and further afield towards the coast.

All in all, a fantastic place for a quiet family holiday. Looking forward to our next stay.

“Wow - it was beautiful”
Reviewed 25 October 2013 for a stay in July 2013

A fantastic two weeks spent in this little part of paradise known as Rezzo - specifically Casa Soprana. Breathtaking scenery, fantastic walks (all very fit now!) and plenty of dips in the wonderfully warm Med. Most certainly a home from home and fantastically equipped - the best we have stayed in on our annual holidays.

Many thanks David, Emma, Tilly & Zephyr.

“beautiful house in beautiful, unspoilt location”
Reviewed 23 September 2013 for a stay in July 2013

A very relaxing week in a lovely location. Good walks locally, both up and down the valley. Excellent natural pool for swimming down by the bridge.
Drive up the valley and walk to Monte Grande is well worth the views.
Excellent local restaurants.
Great hospitality from hosts who made us feel very welcome.
Local walks are generally very steep so you need to be reasonably fit.
All in all a great holiday in a beautiful area.
Highly recommended.

“Warm and welcoming - the perfect setting to enjoy Italian food”
Reviewed 26 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed here with a group of friends and my 3 year old daughter. The house is beautifully designed and the hosts even left toys for my daughter to play with. There is a great pizza oven which we trial ran and a lovely terrace where we enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and sunsets.
Rezzo is a great town for children to explore as there is no traffic on the pedestrian cobbled streets - as long as they don't mind walking. Our hosts were brilliant at informing us of all the local events and best places to eat. There is a magical swim hole at the bottom of the valley. You need to be sure footed to get down there but it is worth the little trek.

“Excellent accommodation and spectacular location”
Reviewed 2 June 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Beautifully restored traditional property located in this unspoilt village high in the mountains of Liguria extremely well appointed for a very comfortable stay. Wonderful and spectacular mountainside walks in all directions about which our children aged 7-12 were hugely and unusually enthusiastic. Easy (half hour drive) access to the coastline for a complete contrast and some beach time. We found people very welcoming and felt we gained insight into a very different life. We would recommend this highly for something a bit different and off the beaten tourist track for adults which will also appeal to children. Easy access to the Italian Riviera meant we could provide for everyone's needs.

“Fascinating place, excellent views. Anyone would e vey happy here”

The house has been beautifully restored with no expense spared and has wonderful far reaching views down the valley. Car is essential along with a good pair of walking boots, and a few trips to the gym to spruce up your leg muscles in advance would be recommended. There is no flat ground, so expect to get really fit! Local shops and restaurants are pretty basic, but adequate, but a trip to the coast down the mountain (40 mins by car, or 30 if you close your eyes) offers all you need with a large variety of good shops and eating places. Local nightlife tends to be "local", so if you are that way inclined it's back to the coast again. Lots to do and see, but you will need the car to get there - and don't forget those boots.
