We booked this hotel as we were visiting family in a nearby village. Its not really in Grottaminada but about 1k outside and in a smaller village. The weekend we were there they had a village music festival (about 100m from the hotel) which caused us some sleepless nights! I think this hotel is mostly used for weddings and its guests as the hugh rooms downstairs were all set up for entertaining. We only had access to the small bar area, reception area and outside for breakfast (thank goodness the weather was nice). There only seemed to be one member of staff! A really nice gentleman who checked us in, took the order for our breakfasts, and then served it to us the next morning! We asked for juice, coffee, rolls, meats and fruit - which we got! We ate out every night with family (Grottaminada is not very touristy and we never found anywhere "upmarket" to eat). Rooms were very elegant with typical Italian decor. Sometimes one of my biggest complaints about hotels are the coathangers (never enough and horrid things which ruin your clothes) and I am afraid the wardrobe contents dissapointed me. Most of our clothes had to stay in the suitcase as there was no other drawer space! Overall, a nice little hotel but not quite sure why you would find yourself in this little village! Would have love to have seen the water feature working when we were there but I suspect it is only switched on for the wedding parties!!!
