“Loved Every minute!”

This place probably has the best view of the clif on your own private balcony! We stayed here for three nights. Walkable to serveral little bars, shops and restuarants and huge walk down to the city (more like a good workout). Awesome pation for dinner/glass of wine to enjoy a beautiful sight.

defnitely would be back!

If you are intending to visit Arcos then this is the perfect hotel. Leave your car at the sister hotel-Los Olivos- and ask them to order a taxi. The streets of the old quarter are very narrow and the rates for parking and taxis are very reasonable. The views from the bedrooms are stunning as you can watch the sun rise from your balcony, overlooking the gorge.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and thought is was an amazing experience. The location is perfect for touring the old town but be prepared for steep, narrow streets. The room and bathroom were large, comfortable, clean and an air conditioner that was more than adequite. We did not have one of the rooms with a small terrace but had an amazing view and you can go up to their terrace for a spectacular view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and service was flawless.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a terrace.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and boy was it worth it...that is once you have negotiated the narrow streets of the old town. Our sat nav took us into the steepest narrowest street I have ever driven on and had to follow a very helpful local and his English speaking daughter, inorder to believe driving was possible! Leave the car near the entrance to the old town in one of the blue bays and walk with your case up hill to the hotel. At least when you are leaving it is all downhill! As for the hotel, the staff were very friendly and efficient, spoke English well, although due to getting slightly the wrong info from reception we got a parking ticket. But...the receptionist did sort it with the parking warden and we didn't have to pay a fine. Room with a terrace a must, views stupendous. You can hear other guests moving furniture, running baths etc but don't let this put you off. Lots of restaurants to try...many offering you menus to get you in, but the best was Bar La Carcel on the main street. Very popular, quite basic, but food good and service efficient.

Room Tip: Rick Steeves room or qany with a terrace.

We stayed one night and loved this hotel , the view from our bedroom window was just amazing. Excellent value for the price we paid in October and Arcos is a lovely village well worth a visit. If you are driving don't follow the satnav !! (unless you enjoy a challenge :) the roads are very steep and very narrow, probably best to leave the car at the bottom of the hill and walk up ! It's well worth the hike though.....

The fabulous views have already been remarked upon, and are the reason you would choose to stay here. This is surely one of the best best 'views from the loo' in the world! The staff are naturally friendly, and seem pleased to welcome you. Breakfast is served on the terrace and is typically Spanish; coffee, juice toast, and you can also enjoy a beer here. The rooms are not luxurious but have all the facilities you need and good bathrooms. The streets are very narrow, I really can't recommend driving to the hotel. There is a public bus service from the lower town.

Room Tip: Terrace rooms have sun-loungers, but it is probably too hot to lie in the sun.

We stayed here based on reviews that we read on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed! Our rooms had absolutely breathtaking views - definitely worth the extra money! The hotel was very clean and had a charming, authentic feel. The staff was helpful but not overly friendly. The only downfall was that we parked at the sister hotel and then had a long uphill walk over cobblestones with our bags - but it was worth it to stay in the old town. Once at the hotel, we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go and get lost in the picturesque streets.

Room Tip: The rooms with the balconies are worth the additional cost - the view is amazing!!
