“After dinner drink with music!”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Walking back to our hotel after a nice meal and came across flamenco music. We walked inside and were lucky enough to be seated directly in front of the musicians. Thought we would stay for one glass of wine(about 10.30pm), left at 12.30. All staff were extremely friendly and enjoyed being there. The same family owns the Italian restaurant next door hence the sharing of facilities between the two.
The music was excellent. Flamenco at close range. Live music is what is missing in so many establishments that to come across it is fantastic. Although we didn't eat there on this occasion we did eat at the Italian restaurant(Mamma Tina)the next night and had a very good pizza. A change from tapas. Thoroughly enjoyable meal.

“Great Place and People”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

This café may be small in size, but what they provide is huge! On a rainy evening we went in for Tapas and drinks, we were the only customers. A young lady named Beatriz Salazar greeted us, answered questions about the food, and explained the evening's entertainment. During the next three hours the place filled to overflowing with guests from several countries. We enjoyed great food and excellent Flamenco music and song. During this entire evening I observed Beatriz politely and professionally greeting guests and assisting. There were children and seniors there, and all seemed to be enjoying the evening.

“Local food, local Flamenco entertainment, and very nice family owners”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

We stopped here because they have flamenco every night...not the dancers but the singers and guitar playing...and we thought it would be interesting to do while in Arcos. The food comes not only from this restaurant but some dishes and tapas come from the Italian restaurant next door also owned by the same family. The waiters go in and out, back and forth, with great results and really good and interesting food. We also ate the next day in the Italian restaurant and they bring things back and forth into that one from this one too. Very friendly and nice servers, extremely nice owners from Italy who moved to Arcos several years ago and visit and often sit and converse with their guests. We got to be good friends with the owner when we ate lunch there the next day and he offered to take us for a ride out of the town to see the best views of the town!! And he left the restaurant with the staff, got his kids and his car, and indeed did take us to see the best views!

The singing and guitar playing were excellent and much better than you would expect in a small town.

The experiences in this restaurant and with the entertainers and owners definitely contributed to a wonderful stay in Arcos. Very special experiences indeed. If you are staying in Arcos, definitely go here for dinner and entertainment. You will be glad you did.
