We had one of the best experiences in ever in Italian cuisine not in Italy, but in Landshut, Bavaria, Germany. The Osteria Torretta is in the middle of the old town, on a small alley between Altstadt and Neustadt, just close to the famous church. It is in an old convent and has a lovely garden in the backyard. They had off-menu a lamb fillet on a balsamic sauce which you'd die for, at least. I don't want to continue raving about all other great dishes they served, although each and every of them would well deserve it, But I certainly want to stress the hospitality and dedication by the host and staff. Highly recommendable! Friendly, nice, lovely.
