Had a mid week stay here for 2 nights. Excellent Table D'hote set menu in the restaurant, friendly staff and an upgrade on the room had a sea view and the hotel was warm and comfortable. Would highly recommend and will return. Also busy for February.

Booked as a late Valentines break but not what we had hoped for. We arrived and had to wait a few minutes to be acknowledged by the receptionist not with anyone before she was prompted by her colleague to check us in. When we finally went through the check in process we were told our room wasn't ready and we would have to wait 10 minutes. This was just before 3pm. At 3.30 pm we had yet to be told our room was ready and when we queried with staff, we were told it would be another 10 minutes. Finally at 4pm we made our way back to the desk and were told our room was ready. However the receptionist made no attempt to apologise for the excessive wait. When we arrived in our room it was clean and tidy with good facilities, however the view is onto the carpark and roof of a conservatory that needs cleaned. Also postioning of beds is poor as they are directly beside the hallway and footsteps are easily heard. I was keen to use the spa having worked in one before but was disappointed at the lack of working facilities in terms of the overhead jets, 1 of 3 worked, and only the bubble beds in the pool worked, none of the other 'whirlpool' or seats worked and no signs were displayed to show otherwise. Few tiles missing in areas of the pool also. As the spa wasn't particulary busy when we used it, it was a shame that the facilities weren't up to standard. The information in the guest handbook in the room needs updated. It states the Captains bar isn't open on a Sunday evening for food but it is. The staff in the Captains Bar were attentive, polite and made our dining experience a highlight of our stay.

I was only able to make a two day stay this time and that was the only disappointing thing I had to complain about. From the minute we arrived right up to check out every single thing was absolutely magnificent. The ambiance the views of the ocean were outstanding, food to die for and we never came across a member of staff who wasn't smiling, they were so helpful, polite but most of all 100% professional they are a credit to Redcastle. So if ur stressed, bored, under pressure or just want a break, get your bags packed and head to Redcastle and let yourself be pampered in the finest hotel by the finest staff, you will always get a package to suit your needs, the variety of deals to pick from is unbelievable and extremely competitively priced. Can't wait to we get back again and again.

We stayed for 2 nights on a fantastic offer which we upgraded to include 2 children in a one bedroom suite. Right from being met on arrival the staff were all so friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms were really comfortable, robes, slippers and bottled water provided. The breakfasts were excellent and enjoyed in the lovely location of the restaurant right on the water's edge. We ate in both the bar and the restaurant, both very good. My spa treatment was (sorry to use the same word again) excellent! Kids loved the pool, and my husband and daughter enjoyed the golf. Would happily recommend the Redcastle for a relaxing break

Spa ? Cold, uninviting, Lacked relaxation, no chairs,broken jets.pool tiles missing.No hot water in bathrooms twice in a two day trip. Lacked the expectation. Despite complaint Manager failed to reply.
