Can only endorse previous reviews on excellence of property, location and quality of the accommodation. Lovely interesting and talented people, we visited Vivienne's exhibition of paintings in nearby Halesworth. We had already tasted David's Suffolk Honey, but it was fascinating to get a tour of the hives. No light pollution so got a ringside seat for the Perseid meteor shower, followed in the morning with excellent scrambled eggs. Many thanks for making our stay utterly memorable. Going to bring the dinghy next time!

Room Tip: Both suites furnished to a very high standard.

Absolutely fabulous place! Huge bedrooms & bathrooms with own sitting rooms and outside seating area. Breakfast is fantastic with homemade bread and jams, local bacon & sausages, eggs from their own hens and honey from their bees. Great location for exploring, really need to spend a few days here to properly relax and see everything. Good choice of pubs & restaurants nearby for eating out at night.

Room Tip: Stayed in "Nellie", great room, really quiet, loved the magazines in the cupboard and choi...

Once again another booking on the internet just hoping that we had found a good place to lay our heads for a few nights. This place was an absolute gem, nay diamond, 4* but should really be 6*. As a disabled person the place is perfection, Slopes for access, wet rooms, wonderfullt comfortable beds, pillows and linen. Every thing on one level. Don't get me wrong, this idyllic place is not just for the disabled, David and Vivienne have done a wonderful job of fusing both able and disabled use together which makes a disabled person feel 'normal' with out realizing. We only spent three nights at 'Cowsheds' but we felt pampered and so well looked after. We are looking into spending a lot more time there at 3 nights just wasn't enough. In fact we want to live there!! David and Vivienne have put a lot of hard work into making and keeping this place up to the high standard that they do. Keep up the hard work!!!

Room Tip: We stayed in 'Nellie'. But either room is good. Every where here is silence, calmness and re...

A perfect stay in this wonderful B & B. Set in a courtyard setting the room was large with high vaulted ceiling, extremely comfortable kingsize bed with lovely quality bed linen. Well appointed wet room. There was a small lounge off the bedroom with lots of lovely teas and coffee for the room's use, so basically it was like a homely hotel suite! There was a small terrace for sole use of the room with lovely country views plus a decked area. There is only two B&B rooms so not hordes of guests. The breakfast was first class with their own eggs, honey and wonderful homemade bread. A great base for visiting the coast without the crowds or walking/cycling in the lovely Suffolk countryside...blissfully quiet. A hidden gem!

Room Tip: Both rooms seem equally good.

Perfect retreat and base to discover the Suffolk coastline. The owners, Vivienne and David were very welcoming and ensured we had a great stay. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast, with the special touch, such as the homemade bread, jam, marmalade, honey and muesli. Our 12 year old especially enjoyed his stay and is "plotting his return"!

We stayed in "Nellie" and can honestly say it is only the first time we have been away and preferred the bed on holiday better than our own.

Lots to see and do locally but equally a place to get away from it all.

For those that still need to be in touch with the outside world, wifi is available.

Cowshed holidays offers B&B and art courses from converted farm buildings just outside the village of Bramfield. The approach is along about a half mile farm track which would not be such a good feature in poor weather - and there are no passing points. We didn't have any issues with this during our short stay.

Our room was more like a suite with a living room area including a good range of tea and coffee with fresh milk. Spacious bedroom and en suite wet room. Really comfortable sleep in a super king sized bed. The curtains don't cover all of the high windows so maybe there'd be too much light in mid summer, on the other hand it is very quiet so sleep is easy.

We had a private patio leading off the main bedroom from which we enjoyed a beautiful Suffolk sun set.

Breakfast was delicious with home made bread and jams and fresh eggs etc. All lovely provided you don't mind sharing the table with the guests from the one other room. Plenty of art work on view and for sale along with a photo album showing the restoration. Owners friendly and helpful. Overall, a good choice.
