A cozy hotel in a beautifully restored villa of the twenties. Classic design with modern comfort, all rooms with air conditioning. Our junior suite had a spacious Jacuzzi and separate shower, plenty of beautiful towels, bathrobes and fine accessories from L'Occitane. Separate toilet. Spacious terrace with seats at a table and chairs, all with cushions. Nice view over the golf course. No restaurant, but a full breakfast with everything you could wish. In the afternoon and evening service for coffee, tea and drinks. A hotel where classic and modern harmonies in a flawless manner.

Having had all sorts of unfortunate experiences in Belgium, I was almost shocked to find this little gem. It is clean, the breakfast setup is a Martha Stewart style, the setting is idyllic- perfect. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with a couple of hiccups. There really should be someone helping with the bags. Also, we have tried to surprise one of our friends with a birthday party in the garden. We asked for a quote, based on baking a cake by the chef. We then noticed the cake had been purchased. It was good, but we feel we should have been told.

Our friends recommended us Knokke for relaxed vacations by the sea in March. After reading reviews we (me and my husband) decided to stay at Manoir du Dragon and were really pleased by the property. If you've been to Knokke than you should know that it is a town with developed infrastructure, casino and plenty of upscale shops and gourmand restaurants. Most of them located in seaside area. Manoir du Dragon is located in 15-20 min walk distance from the sea in secluded garden adjacent to golf club. Property itself is charming - tastefully decorated, very clean, old style but at the same time modernly equipped. Reception is warm welcoming. We were offered choice of rooms to stay and finally preferred spacious suite with private terrace overlooking golf area. The restaurant was closed for dinner these days, but with the choice of food places in town and quick taxi service we did not have a problem. Breakfast was served in charming room and was delicious with choice of fresh bread, jams, cheese, salmon, ham, tasty pâté de maison(!), perfect coffee(!), pastry.. Also there was delicious marmalade candies at reception and daily fresh fruit plate in the room:) After staying one night we moved to Brugge (as it was planned beforehand), but having arrived to Brugge decided to go back to Manoir du Dragon:) because it is cozy place with a soul and character and our last night before departure Belgium we wanted to spend there.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice.

my husband and I spend one night at Manoir du Dragon and we just relaxed in their beautiful garden, the setting is charming and our room was very cozy
Breakfast was a feast of fresh fruits and wonderful pastries well presented and graciously served
Located in a peaceful part of town but very close to all the shops and the beach
We loved it

Room Tip: we stayed in a junior suite, small but very cozy with a balcony overlooking the front garden

This is a beautiful intimate hotel in a great location, set far enough back that you have stunning surrounding but it is a short walk to the beach front, shops and restaurants. We were there off -season and it was still very expensive but the rooms are very comfortable and luxurious and the staff are very helpful and friendly!

My only bad experience was that one night, two couples got drunk and were being very loud in the downstairs bar and the sound traveled up to the bedrooms. We complained to the night receptionist but it did not seem to make a difference and the noise continued until the early hours.

This hotel is a gem.
Situated in a quiet part of town, yet close to shopping, restaurants and beach. Surrounded by park, garden and a golf course.
Friendly staff who makes you feel welcome. Charming rooms (i had a junior suite with great balcony overlooking the gardens), wonderfully presented and copious breakfast buffet offered in a charming restaurant. Nice public "salons", tastefully decorated. Free internet access in rooms (quite a rarity these days).
My only negative comment would be about the quality of the bed (although "double", but actually "single" - as quite often in Europe and too soft).
But everything else in this fine hotel was simply great. Congratulations to the owners!

Our stay in this hotel was more than we expected. We stayed in Justine's room which was very luxurious. Well equipped little kitchenette so you can make your own tea or even cook or warm up bought meals. the view over the golf course is magnificent. well situated in villa area but close to centre. breakfast buffet could not be better, lots of choices and included in room's price. definitely a hotel to recommend. prices are not cheap but you sure get your money's worth. have already booked a second stay for may 2008.
