Finally on TripAdvisor. I have been here 3 times and do like it here. This is not the biggest of sites which is half the attraction. The pool is not big at all but big enough and they have a separate pool for the little ones. The river however is fantastic with with large shallow bits and some deep areas there is something for everyone. If you face the river and keep walking to the left for about 10-15 minutes there are some little rapids which are great for the airbeds and large cliffs you can just off into the rivers and this part is very popular with the teenagers from both the castel rose and camping L'Arche which is right next to it. FYI, L'Arche is double the price and in my opinion not worth that much more. Staff are friendly with the new owners that took over some 5 years ago. They live on site and are hands on and very friendly indeed. Anduze itself is a lovely little town and I first came here some 35 years ago as a little boy and keep coming back every few years. Other important stuff for you campers out there; no noisy teenagers, (friendly) security that patrol at nights to ensure there is no noise, no noisy entertainment with discos every night. Entertainment during the day for children spoken in French only, sometimes in Dutch but not in English. I thought the sanitation block are well maintained to be honest and cleaner at least 3 times a day. pitches are of good size (we have large caravan) and the rental homes in good condition (my parents rented one) For you Brits (my wife), there are no Brits here and for you Dutchies (like myself) there are plenty of you combined with many French of course and a couple of lost Germans. This is the Ardeche region so guaranteed sunshine, up to 40 degrees in the summer. For a day at the beach go to Le Grande Motte in Montpellier, for cloudy days go to Nimes, Avignon or Arles and you must go the Le Pont Du Gard.
