We selected Auberge De La Selune for a 2 night stay during our recent holiday in Northern France because it was an easy 15 mile drive to Mont Saint-Michel. This allowed us 2 visits, one in the early morning after breakfast and the other in late evening after dinner, with both missing the busiest part of the day. We made a great decision and loved both this iconic landmark and our overnight stays.
The auberge is in a beautiful tranquil location by the river on the edge of Ducey and has pleasant gardens to sit out in and relax. Our garden facing room had recently been refurbished and was well appointed. Patrice and Sandra are excellent hosts and seemed to be working all the hours of the day to cater for several family functions. Despite this they always had time to help and advise, which says lots for their professionalism. The food was simply outstanding and I would describe as fine dining at a reasonable set menu price. Would love to visit again and highly recommend.More
