These cruise ships are huge. The seats are like first class on an airplane. There are family booths with tables and chairs for the kids to play. Vista views abound on both levels of the ship. There are more waterfalls and snowcapped jagged mountains than you can keep track of on this cruise. A stop in Gudvangen allows you to souvenier shop and grab a taste of offerings in the restaurant. Unusual and luxurious items in the giftshop. Watch your time carefully if you are catching the bus back. They leave a little early. I missed it and had to walk up to the main road and wait 3 hours for a public bus which was decadently appointed. Yummy. I have never travelled 24 miles through solid rock mountain tunnels. But you will on this adventure getting back to Flam. An incredible testament to the Norwegian workers who made this road possible.
