Absolutely amazing beach, some of the beach front hotels have reserved areas of sunbeds but there are plenty of others available at 10 euros for the day to rent. The sea was very cold when we went but great for a day's sunbathing.

The beach has soft golden sand and stretches for miles. The sea is clean, although a bit cold! The beach staff were friendly and helpful and reserved shade and beds for us at busy periods. It is a great beach for families however it is very busy at peak times.

Very clean town with nice shops for taking that little something home. Beach is wonderful although we found the bed hire rather expensive. 8 euros for an afternoon ( about 3 hours) We stayed at the Vasco Da Gama Hotel and were very pleased with our accommodation. If you like peace and quiet then this place is for you, although you can find some nightlife if you want it.

Lovely sandy beach and very cold sea. The area is well facilitated with plenty of restaurants and cafes. Must admit though the menus do need more imagination; almost every restaurant the same. However, can't do much wrong with cod and sardines. Bus service worth a try especially to go to nearby Villa Real and a short ferry trip to Spain well worth the visit. Limited entertainment at night but with the right company is a romantic little place. Also the refreshing Atlantic sea breeze makes a change from the sultry heat of the med.

Good beach. Lots to do it the bit near the town. Beautiful sand. Nice preserved beach and dunes. We enjoyed going a bit further along the beach to escape the crowds. Found some nice spots. Good areas to take your own parasols no need to pay if you do t want to. Beach is shallow so good for kids
